The "Free play" weekend (as found by Lonfar) is confirmed. All you have to do is:

3) Scroll down to the "Not installed" section
4) Right click "Madballs in... Babo Invasion"
5) Click "Install game", it's only 320MB
6) Wait for it to finish downloading and you can try the full game for free until the weekend is over.

The S.W.A.T. Combo pack (DLC for the game) is also 75% off @ £2.24: store.steampowered.com/sub…52/

The spiritual successor to the massively popular freeware top-down shooter BaboViolent2, Madballs in Babo:Invasion is an arena based 3D shooter offering players a satisfying and immersive experience in both single-player and multiplayer, including 'Invasion Mode' where players are able to design their own combat maps almost instantaneously by placing a combination of map tiles to create a never-before-seen map before gameplay starts. Truly, no two games are ever the same.

Featuring the recently re-released Madballs characters, Oculus Orbus and Horn Head, from the popular 1980s toys best remembered for their outrageously bad looks and graphically colourful names, Madballs in...Babo: Invasion is a feature laden 'casually hardcore' action shooter.

Awesome Deal.

I got this off steam for £3 I think at xmas for my son and he loves it and it is a highly underated game especially when you get later into it, like the level when you have to escape the ship before it goes critical all the different madball can escape in different ways.

It's a great Blast!

You can go wrong with this price!

Looks very good for the price!

This game has had more sales than DFS ... is there anyone who hasn't bought this already and will do under this sale?

It;s an okay game, and definately worth the price.

I found the game fun for about 20 minutes. After that, it seemed very repetitive. Still, worth the price.

Great, I just purchased the game for 1.74 and it has given me a guest pass, I don't have any friends that use the Steam client so if anyone would like a free guest pass just say so and it's yours.

I'd like it please if nobody else is ahead of me:)

Well, that's weird. I just opened up the Steam client and the pass has gone. Sorry about that. I think it was just a time limited trial so you may as well just do the trial they're offering.

its actually cheaper to buy the pack if you want both expansions then you get a free version of the main game to gift...is that what you did kidblast?

I played a demo of this and was quite fun...and since it only 50p more for the DLC as well i will get the poack

voted hot!

EDIT: there quite a few expansions though, so cost a fair bit to get all DLC

Nah, I just bought the £1.74 job.

Tried the free trial weekend and have just bought it. Worth £1.74 any day of the week. Less than a pint of beer and at least a few hours of gameplay in it.

the "expansions" are effectively "cheats" or "unlocks" letting you unlock most of the game without having to play through campaign...wouldnt have bothereed if i had realised :P
