I believe Apple Pay is still an option for some, there's also the FB code to drop it if you want to save 35p

XCOM 2 is the sequel to the 2012 Game of the Year, award-winning strategy game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

Earth has changed. Twenty years have passed since world leaders offered an unconditional surrender to alien forces and XCOM, the planet's last line of defense, was left decimated and scattered. Now the aliens rule Earth, building shining cities that promise a brilliant future for humanity on the surface, while concealing a sinister agenda below and eliminating all who dissent from their new order.

Only those who live at the edges of the world have a margin of freedom. Here, a force gathers once again to stand up for humanity. Always on the run, the remnant XCOM forces must find a way to rise from the ashes, expose the insidious truth behind the occupation, and eliminate the alien threat once and for all.

I'm playing this now on the PS4, finding it frustrating as you can be standing right under the nose of an enemy and still miss shooting it plus things like boulders and trees dont seem to give much cover like they did in XCOM.It seems to be more a game of chance than strategy.

That's what puts me off getting this, as much as I want it
I am currently go though a phase of playing and enjoying all things turned base, this game was on my list of buys, can't go to far wrong at this price.

I really liked Xcom on the PS3. I like this to but its just annoying. I'm finding I am having to do a save almost after every event as its really easy to get wiped out because your shots are missing when standing next to them but the enemy is hitting you from afar.
Fantastic game. Fantastic price
Picked up just now for £6.78 using the 3% off code posted the other day: CDK36454
Thanks OP
Your deals are always one of the best
the 1st game was fantastic, however given the way the future DLC made you start again i think i will wait and buy the complete edition when it is cheap.

still this is a v good price

I love turn based games. Any new additions you would recommend?
Worst thing about modern RPG is the constant juggling with limited bag space, that truly does my nut in
Cracking good price for a cracking good game

Well , my current purchases have included , Pillars of Eternity 1 + 2 (release date April) Divinity original Sin enhanced + Divinity original sin 2 , Wastelands 2 directors cut plus a couple of others that do not come to mind....but I picked them up via gog using a VPN , so I saved around 66 % off of the regular price.
Amazing price for this game.
I think folks who are 'criticising' the randomness of this game are forgetting that turn based just makes decisions easier and less rushed; you should try to remember that would be happening in real-time. Running 10 yards, hiding behind cover then peering out to take a shot would have quite a low chance of success!

It also feels a massive loss when an experienced soldier goes down / dies which leads to them being almost too precious to lose. The downside to this is OCD levels of saving and a feeling that every single shot really counts (hence why many are annoyed when just one misses). It takes the game slightly above 'difficult' and into the frustrating territory.

Still, a great game if you ask me and well worth this money.
The elements of luck and frustration combined with the timed missions is what's putting me off this. I don't being rushed, especially not in a strategy game!
The most annoying thing I've found is that you can't set up any good flanking maneuvres as you'll run into another huddle of bad guys, wake them up and get obliterated.

It's actually very limited tactically.

ALL xcom games are chizel away type, its always best to use long ranged, shotguns on ironman is lose your guys... a shame really

I just got Divinity enhanced for the PS4.
Only played around an hour or so, but the feeling of micromanaging all that loot is what annoys me the most.
It it makes me wonder if I should repurchase on PC for an easier time with loot!?

I know memory plays a part, but it’s same with other games and loot. Especially the ones like Fallout 4 where ya start walking slow! Just wish bag space wasn’t a limit in games. I am bad at hoarding, it’s why I rarely use scrolls and potions as never want to use them up.

I do however love, gaining better loot and randomness of drops etc. I guess I miss the buzz I got many years ago playing Wow for the first time (loot wise)
Loved the old games like Warlords, breath of fire and if course Final Fantasy 7,8 and 9.

May have to look back at the PC games to get a fi

I tend to play these types of games on PC , the controller support for Divinity enhanced and for Divinity 2 are excellent and rarely do I touch the keyboard when playing either of them , bag space seems unlimited for these 2 games though which is nice too , but , loot management can be a pain for sure , I even tend to hoard my upgrade points until I need to use them.

I purchased Grim Dawn yesterday via GOG Russia for around £1.70 ish , great game , excellent action RPG for sure.

WoW as sure was a classic , I have pondered going back from time to time , but a monthly sub does put me off , plus I imagine the game has not moved on massively in the past 6 years or so in terms of graphics and gameplay.

Just got an email with this offer from Humble Bundle which is just in line as was looking earlier today at Wastelands 2

Indeed a good selection RPG's for sure , I have been playing Titan quest anniversary edition this evening , great game .

I am tempted with the bottom tier of humble bundle due to the nice selection of RPG's for sure , I have wasteland already so I might just pass on the upper tiers.

I know the feeling, I have collected way more games than I have played. A lot through Humble Bundle over past years.
Im very good at starting games and then moving to the next.
Back when I was younger and I could only afford one game a month was probably good, as I would finish them.

Will grab the bundle for Wastelands for sure seen as though I saw it at £30
