SteelSeries Siberia 800 Wireless

Gaming Headset with Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound for PC/Mac PS3/4 Xbox 360

and Apple TV (Formerly H Wireless)

Dolby virtual 7.1 surround sound technology places you in the game.Closed-back earcups for superior accuracy, clarity, and detail.Large OLED display clearly shows menus and settings. Two hot-swappable Li-Ion batteries for unlimited play.Works with Xbox 360, PS3/4, PC/Mac, AppleTV/Roku, home entertainment, and mobile devices.

Looking around at reviews, these are... probably one of the best WIRELESS headSETs for gaming/recreation use. (Not a hi-fi buff but there's plenty will beat this, not wirelessly though).

Swap-able batteries on a wireless headset covers about my biggest beef with most that have gone before it.

These are happily coming in at £214 on amazon, cheapest I can find elsewhere is about £180... fill yer boots.

For those wanting the best PC audio under... £250? £300? - Sennheiser HD598cs + v-moda boompro = god tier. That's wired though, these are wireless.
Don't get the frosty reception at all. This is the cheapest price for these and this is the best gaming headset you can buy.
I bought these for this price a couple weeks back and they are brilliant, truly universal, using for pc, PS4 Xbox and switch via an optical switch box for easy switching between sources.

2 issues I've found so far, they arent the loudest.... I'm happy with the volume level when at max but ideally would prefer a little louder. Also these are advertised as having mic monitoring so you can hear yourself..... it's barely on, no adjustments to increase it and may as well not have it at all for how quiet it is

But other than that for this price these are amazing. That changeable battery is unique to these and so useful
Thank you. Was looking for wireless sale. Perfect timing:D
Voted hot! Although for about £10 more you can get the Steelseries Arctis 7 on Amazon which I went for instead of these, as they also work on Xbox One as well as the PS4

Arctis 7 is 7.1 surround sound on PC only, on the consoles that becomes a standard stereo headset because it uses USB. You need a headset with optical input for console 7.1 surround sound headset audio which the Siberia 800 can do

This is true, the PS4 only outputs stereo via USB, but if your PS4 is already hooked up to a surround amp via optical and you just need a quick headphone option in the evening, the Arctis 7 is a decent choice. Certainly I never felt that disadvantaged only using stereo. Maybe it depends on the game.

Yeah for sure a decent stereo headset is often preffered to surround sound headsets too, it's just if anyone's buying this for it's wireless 7.1 capabilities then unfortunately the arctis is a PC only headset for that. There's very few options on the market for headsets using optical inputs which is why I landed on the Siberia 800, it's was a short list to pick from lol
Connected mine via Optical Cable to PC. Sounds as good as my 269£ Sennheisers.
