Key details

The custom-designed high-fidelity drivers wrap you in 360° Spatial Audio, so you'll feel like you're right there on the battlefield. You get superhuman hearing from the powerful Sonar software – it highlights critical in-game sounds, so you'll hear if someone is sneaking up behind you. And that's not all. The ClearCast AI microphone means your squad will have no trouble hearing you when you lead them into battle. It cuts down background noise by up to 25 dB and cleans up your voice.

Good to know

I got mine yesterday and had a quick mess about.
They are comfortable and have a nice sound profile, the USB C adapter is nice, but I do wish the USB insert was a little deeper, as using on my phone, I need to remove my case, as well the steam deck I need to remove my protective sleeve.

For the steam deck, you need to have it powered off, plug into the adapter and turn it on for it to recognize it. From then it's completely fine.

For Xbox, you need to plug the USB A to C cable into the console and the adapter into the console, I thought it went into the controllers usb c port.
The material of the headset is decent, but somehow I've scratched mine, so I am not sure how that happened.

I've not yet used the mic. Overall, it's a nice headset for £80.

Curious that there is no reference to the Arctis Nova 4X/P on the Steelseries website and the link that search engines give for it doesn't show any real content - what am I missing?

Am I right in thinking (after looking at the images in this post) that the 4X can do both Xbox and PlayStation, but the 4P can’t connect to an Xbox?

    I think this is 7X not 4X?

Thanks, for £80 this could be a good headset, shame it does not have built in Bluetooth, as I play my steam deck plugged in, so it'll be a choice between headset or charging.
