I managed to find this headset at Amazon for a cheaper price than what usually shows up when you search for the Arctis Pro Wireless. The description is a bit weird but the product number is the same as amazon.co.uk/dp/B07JGPLXZ1/?th=1

I got mine delievered today and can confirm it's the model above, manufactured February 2020 and comes with the transmitter base station which is very useful for changing settings.

The last best price was around £205 on prime day so this is a bargain! Enjoy.

Is it worth double the price as the Arctis 7 which goes for £99 when it’s on offer?

Nope. And poor customer service to would never buy another steel series product again.

Sorry, I meant 7. Just changed my comment.
I have the arctis 7's and the one thing that's missing is a swappable battery like these have. Is it worth me swapping? Probs not but if I was in for a new pair, defo would get these.

Have some heat op
Where did you find Arctis 7's for £99???
Got the wired version of this and its the best headset i've ever owned. Top sound, very comfy. I originally bought the Corsair Virtuoso but found it so uncomfy and the drivers touched my ears and hurt. So I swapped if for this. No regrets!

No - it's the worst headset I've ever bought. I wouldn't even pay £50 for it. Sound quality is the worst I've ever experienced on any headphones. Build quality is cheap rubbish. Everything is buggy and poorly implemented. Crap software / firmware. The headphones creak like mad - the worst I've ever experienced on any headphones by a huge margin - if you move your head at all all you hear is loud creaking. I've come to the conclusion the reviews online are all fake and paid for. The sound really is absolute garbage. Also the 7.1 Surround Sound is total nonsense - it doesn't work and is so bad it's unbelievable - people literally say to not use it. Also their customer services is the worst you will ever find. Look online and you will see - they will not repair or replace any faulty headphones and will claim it is not covered under 'wear and tear'. They should not be in business. It's just such a bad product in every single way it's unreal.

Sounds like you got a dud.

I love my Fidelio X2's - they are my favourite headphones but they are not wireless.

Not at all - I found countless people with the same problems online when I was trying to solve my issues. The creaking is widespread and leads to the plastic cracking / failing - very common. People even took them apart and posted a video showing one of the reasons why they all creak - the circuit board is hitting the plastic sidewall inside - very crap design and rubbish quality. Also lots of cases where people have contacted their customer services only to be told they have to DESTROY the headphones and then send it to them. After destroying their headphones, their customer services then REFUSED to do anything for them before even getting the headphones back claiming the faults would be excluded under "wear and tear" - they use this excuse on every fault imaginable. Has happened to loads of people if you look online.

So you think they all have the same issue?

That seems unlikely.
Super good price! Haven't seen the white one reduced this much ever

Just look at previous deals on here
Just got a set of these. Love em so far.... Can't slate their customer service either tbh, my Rival 650 mouse side grips started peeling off after around a year and half or solid use. Emailed them, they sent out FOC replacements. 🔥 From me

I can see one deal for £99 that was 6 months ago, but nothing since. I'll keep my fingers crossed for black Friday I guess!
Had these for almost two year, great headset - mic isn't as good as a modmic but still very good.

Take all the negative comments with a pinch of salt, people are more likely to take the effort to be negative than positive. These are from Amazon, you can always return them easily enough.
Looking into wireless for my xbox (but for this price would be cool to use it then wireless for my laptop and mobile too?), but how does it all work? Was thinking you just bluetooth it to your device and off you go. but it seems to be more complicated then that. And then it be hardwired as an option too, but this has 2 re-chargeable batteries which is cool

Optical in for example isnt on the next gen xbox. but the 2.4Ghz wireless is?
HyperX Cloud Flight is what finally sparked my interest in wireless but seemed like it so had so many "catches" it wasnt worthwhile, like mic wont work while wired as an example.
These are amazing I’ve had mine for over 12 months now and I can’t fault them at all. It’s a lot of money but believe me they’re worth every penny.
Please stop giving steelseries money for this awful flawed design. The way the cups connect to the band creates a permanent lever action on the plastic with a nut inside, leading to inevitable breaking from normal use.

Look at the steelseries subreddit for a continuous horror show of broken headsets, all in exactly the same way, all from regular use. There's a reason nobody else makes headphones with this design, it's because it's critically flawed.
Bargain!!

Hahahaha OMG - I can't take some of these posts seriously. These headphones are absolute garbage. Don't know how some of you sleep at night advising people to buy these.

I'd agree. Sound on these is perfect, use them on PS4 and PC. More solid and much better than any of the Sony headsets and better sounding than their platinum. (Sony's were good but fragile). Amazing sound and amazing features.

PS5 firmware update for these has been announced.

Yes people shouldn't share their good experience of something. If they do then they are just bad people.

Makes sense.
I still have my wireless Arctis Pro's and just did a test. Removed the software / transmitter / USB / Optical etc. completely out of the equation. Also ignored the fact that they have terrible cheap build quality. Plugged audio straight into the 3.5mm jack and compared to my Fidelio X2's plugged in to make it fair. Wow - the Arctis Pros sound SOOOooo bad it's unreal. I can't believe how bad they sound. If anyone has these two headphones - please do the above and let everyone know what you hear. Honestly sound worse than a £10 pair of headphones. The X2s show these up for what they are. The drivers are total garbage - also terrible sibilance - worst I've ever heard on anything.

Probably the best of all the premium gaming headsets I've tried in terms of feature sets, they don't sound too bad either! I came from the audeze mobius and hyper x cloud orbit s, both of which sounded great but had awful mic quality to compensate. I think all gaming headsets leave a lot to be desired in many areas though so perhaps this was just the best of a bad bunch.
I have these and use them for work and a little light gaming. Good overall and owned now since April. Yes, I hear the creaking every now and then but I'm not particularly bothered by it. I like being able to replace the battery and recharge the other, without needing a cable plugged into the headset.

If you're buying them for personal use, I'd say based on my experience they're not worth it, but at the same time I don't have a recommendation for an alternative.
