Got this in Livingston despite the website saying they had none, well they don't now

It's £99 on they web site

Back to £49.99, just bought...

I bought this set (headest, mouse, mousemat, keyboard) for £89.99 less than 2 months ago from eBay/Box UK. They came separately and the mouse is a different colour but for £40 less this is an amazing deal. Using them right now

Good find.

Possibly a stupid question but could I use the gaming headset for listening to music? I have no wish to use it for online gaming and listen to kids telling me that they have had sexual relations with my nearest and dearest.

Yeah, will work fine. The sound might have a theatric sound to it as it's more designed for multi sounds from gaming. But should still sound decent and likely powerful base.

Thanks DJ, just ordered one for instore pickup. Says available in 30 minutes which is frustrating as I'm just about to go to bed. Hopefully they can hang onto it until lunchtime tomorrow

I'd be all over this if it was a mechie keyboard but at this price couldn't expect them to throw one in!

Good deal for all in one and those looking to build first rig!

I think I remember paying this price for just the headset years ago. I'm prepared to say this is hot.

Good price for the kit - sadly not a mechanical keyboard, but I suppose not to be expected at this price - have some heat...

This is such a good deal. Keyboard alone retails for ~£45.

The headset is absolutely terrible I own one, Everything else makes it a good deal!

does anyone know if these come in seperate retail boxes?

Hopefully this reaches you before you purchase. This particular headset has been "fine tuned for FPSgames" What this means in practice(I have this pack) is that the sound is very treble heavy with the bass turned right down low which allows you to hear important shooter sounds like gunshots and footsteps. It also means that music sounds like absoloute crap through them, worse than a set of tesco value earbuds. Great for the games though gotta say.

Yes they come in one box overall but each item is individually packaged.

paid £50 for just the keyboard this time last year, great deal!

Ordered. I've already own it all (bought individually) but my headset broke recently.

I don't even play PC games any more... standard HUKD.

Happy that I got it !!

Sad that I have to spend for unexpected stuff !!

Damn it HUKD always love you

heat for the price - if you are on a tight budget and need all 4 of these items then this is a good deal.

All the component parts are very average - nothing is "high end" here so don't be fooled by the marketing, but for the money its a good deal.

I hve to say, I really like the keyboard, my mate bought me the one up from this, but the only difference really is some extra keys and some coloured backlighting, and I'm really pleased with it, certainly an upgrade from the usual £10 keyboards I have to go with.

I'm typing on that keyboard now Had it a year, really nice keyboard. This is a bargain btw

Perfect for my new PC build X) thanks a bunch.

I think I'm going to have to buy it, I'm just kind of bummed because I wanted a mouse with 4 additional buttons and this is just 4 buttons (3 being the standard ones).

But on well... better than my £3 mouse and £7 keyboard from PC World I hope.

added digital bypass kit for £1 and used the 5 Off 50 voucher they post me every month to get it for £45.99

Hot and ordered! Needed new headphones and keyboard.
Ready for pick up 30 minutes. Got the last one in store apparently (Leeds, Regent Street branch).

non mechanical & huge

just picked mine up, disappointed to find the mouse only has 3 programmable buttons (2 being right and left click, hardly what I'd consider programmable), and the third being the scroll wheel - which my £3 mouse has.

Oh well. Still an upgrade for me though

Looks like a good deal although the description is OTT, why not list the parts and link to the steel series page for each.

5hv2= £35
Apex= £45
Kinzu= £20
Can't find the mousemat but I can't see it costing any more than the QCK so >=£9

Total this all up and you have a very hot deal.

my this 5hv2 headset is really bad on my PC, my x12 turtlebeaches were a lot better, don't know whether to return to get a soundcard and hope for a significant improvement

Thanks for the comment, Simbo but I did pick it up today.
I have to say I am impressed with what you get for 50 quid. The keyboard is an imposing size and looks very nice with the white backlighting, the mouse is reasonable but the scroll wheel feels a bit plasticy, the mousemat is..well a mousemat but better than the cheap B&M jobbie I had before and the headphones feel very comfortable and the sound quality was decent enough for me. Took some ribbing from the wife about the extendable microphone though.
Overall, I'm very happy with it. 11/10 would buy again etc.

That is unfortunately how they are meant to sound, Tuned for high treble/low bass for gaming. You wont beat x12's with these.

it was actually the mic rather than the sound itself

I bought a used soundcard for £4.99 which has removed the static from my mic

Dont overlook follow up emails from maplin, they sent me a £5 voucher with no minimum spend, well £5.01

Good find, if I didn't buy a new pair of headphones recently this would have been ordered.

Heat added.
