Same thing. Regular PC users or even casual PC gamers think that mouse mat is completely unecessary for modern optical mouses, hence "cold voting rage" started.

This is for those who know advantages of high quality gaming mats (_;)

Hi, I have a exactMat X mat and a Ikari Laser mouse, never tried a QcK mat, is it worth it? Not sure that this is better than my current one.

The thing is, your mat is made of aluminum, QcK has a rubber base and its surface is made of high quality cloth. I personally don't like metallic or other hard mats like plastic, so there is nothing better for me than QcK. If you want to try something different - go for it, otherwise if you are completely happy with exactMat - no point in buying something else...

Cheers OP bought one, my Godfather one has been moving about all over the place lately. Going to be sad to see it go

Thanks! Ordered one

Excellent! I've used QcK mats for years and mine was getting a bit tatty.

Hot!

thanks. recently updates the drivers for my gaming mouse and the table surface needs paper for it to work... so this will look a damn site better heat.

try clicking the 'new from £5.00' bit ....

Will give it a go, my flexible 'Abit' one that came as a surprisingly useful extra with an old motherboard is looking a bit raggidy these days!

Today's mouses don't need a special mat. Real gamers don't fall to this myth that a mat will make any difference. I've had a cheap one for years. Its the mouse that makes the difference. Cold!

Heat for you Sir!

You do realise that £5 for a good quality, mouse mat with artwork is cheap, right? Regardless of wether it's a 'myth' this is cheap. I'm pretty sure this will last five times longer than your pound land cloth mat.

I got much better K/D, hope you play BF3, see ya there (_;)

P.S. Do you realise that mouse's rubber feet will serve longer with a mouse mat?

I'm just gonna have to go and disagree with you there....

A proper mousemat for smoothness makes a lot of difference and from my experience of gaming competitions (i.e. gamers who do care) you will not find many who disagree.

How do you find the stock quantities?

I'm sorry mate but if you believe that you have never used a good mouse mat I thought the same way at first until I used a good quality one and to be honest your supposed to vote if its a deal or not this is cheaper than else where if we all started voting cold on things just because we didn't need one it would be a bit crap.

What size mat is this it says full size in the title but medium on amazon's description

By "full size" I mean not "mini", so this is medium.

not sure if you are being serious or just not bothered to try/used nice gaming mats, they make a difference.

Using this mat now but with different art work and it's nice, definitely not small. I was using a metallic razer one for years and this feels so much better. Bargain deal for a quality mat, ordered one for spare.

Currently using a steelseries mouse mat, great at soaking up full cans of beer

Time to upgrade! Nice find. Heat.

gonna have to call you out on BS right there... i have a shiny Ikea table and my mouse jumps all over the place on it, piece of paper works, but it looks awful. this should be just what i need a £15 mouse-mat for £5! HEAT

I have an original glass Icemat, but I'm not sure if this would be any better - in a way I'd prefer cloth, but I don't know if it's a worthy 'upgrade'.

The glass ones were good for original optical mice but don't work well with newer optical or laser mice.

I prefer a cloth mat, but if if works for you it's just personal choice I guess.

Is this supposed to be a particularly good mouse mat? I ask this because first of all I'm looking for a new mouse mat, but secondly, I'm not actually a fan of the Diablo series. So perhaps my best bet would be finding one with a pleasant picture of cats. Or something. Seriously though, I wonder if I should just get something different instead.

Heh, I have over 300 games on Steam. I'm a gamer. Searching around for any other SteelSeries mouse mats cheaper but it seems I'll have to bite the bullet and get this one. I don't like getting things with designs of franchises that I'm not a fan of, but I can get over it.

Purchased - if mouse mats don't make much of a difference, then I'm only £5 out of pocket. And if they do, then it only cost me £5!

Can anyone tell me how these compare to the steelseries 4d that was on offer a while back, cheers.
