I have one of these, I was originally led to believe that it has a matte finish, but it has cheap looking glossy plastic instead, but on the bright side the tracking is very accurate, the software is nice to use and being able to set the led's to any colour is great.

Great little mouse. Ideal entry level mouse for gaming and general use.
When I went from wireless to this exact same mouse my K/D ration got a lot higher! Worth it for FPS gaming.

The black one is matte.
I am using one I got for christmas, I think the one model up would've been a better fit for my hand, but for the price you can't knock it.
Out of interest what differentiates a gaming mouse from a mouse? I always thought it was aggressive styling but this isn't the case here.

Gaming mice normally have more accurate sensor and higher refresh rates (ie update to the computer a lot more per second) and often a lot have other buttons, unlockable scroll wheels, and obviously, rgb lights, and crappy software

Standard mice would be cheaper than a gaming mouse, but not be as accurate and refresh as much, and probably wouldn't have any buttons aside from page up/page down, and definitely no rgb.

That's kind of annoying, the white would look nicer in matte too IMO, heavens knows why they decided to make the white version glossy.
I have this, the left click has a low lifespan, don't buy it

Is there something equivalent to this that would be an entry level wireless mouse? This seems great, at first I thought it didnt have side buttons but they were just hard to see.
I've been using one of these for quite some time, it's a solid mouse. Good colour options on the LED too, if that's your bag.

your white one is still 30.
Heat added..
Got one of these and it's an excellent little rodent. My lab puppy has been chewing it for 3 days now and the matte finish is still there....heat from me and the dog.

I got it for around £16 at the time from GAME, the deal was posted on here about 2 months ago.

True, my left click broke in less than a year, when I took it apart it was tiny thin bits of plastic that support the whole button that had snapped, totally inadequate for a 'gaming' mouse imo. My Logitechs have been going for years without breaking like that.
Loving mine but didn't make me any better at StarCraft 2 :P

G602 seems to come up a lot, 47 on amazon but probs cheaper if you look around. Logitech M560 perhaps? Bit less and comes in mighty attractive white (got a bug for these atm sorry). No idea of the overall quality, you'll have to do more research, not looked into wireless much myself beyond eyeballing the wallet devourers (I had an infra red one in 2000, not got over it yet X) )

Lol, Amazon price matched it. So it was this price @currys first. Also, don't see how it is less hassle at Amazon?

Is it because Amazon has been around for 133 years and has a high street presence? Oh hang on..

Or maybe he prefers Amazon because they bother to pay tax in the UK? Nearly 0.1% I hear.
Great mouse! Heat!
same price + 15% off for students at Amazon.

How does this stack up with the Rat 6 ~£25? Prefer more muted aesthetics myself, but is the Rat £10 or more "better"?
