I got the logitech g305 instead of this for same price as wanted wireless and supposed to be one of the best.
poor quality from experiance

scroll wheel started to fail out of warranty
Struggling to find a decent mouse. Every review i've looked at, razers, corsairs, logitech, "scroll wheel broke", "right click broke", "rubber side falls off", "terrible software", "lags", "double clicks". Can't find anything.
Hot from me @Frankie77 Not sure why this is going cold, best price it's been.

I've had the logitech G203 for 2yrs and it still works fine, no issues.l, used a couple of hours a day.

Purchased the Logitech G305, had it a couple of weeks and is fine still.

Yeah I recently returned a G203. Worst mouse I have ever used in my life. Never been so sore. I heard the G305 is really light too. I'm looking for one with something to it. I'll keep searching. It's amazing how nothing seems to work though. Especially considering the price of some of these mice.
Steel Series mice have been the best i've used to be honest. I had the Rival 3 before.

If you’re looking for weight I’d recommend the rival 610 if you can get your hands on it, comes with interchangeable weights. Just to add to the anecdotal evidence, I’ve had various steelseries mice over the last 10 years or so (only 4 different units, and only switched due to upgrading, they didn’t break) with heavy use. The software is great, the mice are clean and comfortable, I’d struggle to recommend anything else at this price point.

Have you had issue with the sides? I keep seeing "rubber grips slid", "rubber grips fell off", "Rubber grip poorly glued"

Aargh this is so frustrating. I'll add it to my list though. thanks.

Been using this one (a sensei 310 I think ) for about 3 years with no issues, maybe people have sweatier hands? Before that I had a “sensei raw” which I only upgraded because I had dropped it and lost one of the rubber feet, id had it for years, since WotLK in fact
I do feel I need the rubber though. These mice that are too glossy just slide out my hands. I guess I don't get sweaty enough. My hands are always dry.

Good to know. Maybe I will be the same then. Glad you agree about SteelSeries over these overhyped others.

I think with build quality issues, you’re always going to get them, and people are much more likely to leave bad reviews than good ones. If you can wait for the 600 to go on sale at Currys, you can usually get it for around £50 and you’d get 6 months Spotify too atm, maybe play in gloves to make sure your rubber doesn’t degrade

I’ve never liked others, I had a R.A.T for a while because they’re supposed to be up there, but hated the Logitech ones. I think because I started with SS and just really liked it, I’ve never gone back

One word "CRAP" Im tempted to buy Logitech G502 hero but atm is overpriced for me.41275034-5ll4o.jpg

This will help, vital information. I also hate how online reviews from PC magazines, tech sites etc. all list the same top 10 mice and similar write ups. Then you go to Amazon and the user reviews are complete opposite from the buying public. But I suppose that comes down to paid reviews/free products/sponsorships. It makes things so hard to purchase.

Just been through a similar experience trying to find a new mouse. I’ve ended up hedging my bets. I have ordered a new usb cable for my trusty G500. I also have a G502 on back order I got cheap. I’ll keep you posted.
I have found Zowie mice to get a good reputation, I had an FK1 for over 5 years without issue. I swapped to a Glorious Model O which also hasn't been a problem. I did have a lot of double clicking issues with SS mice but they pretty all use the same switch from Omron so who knows who is at fault.

Wireless - Input lag, inaccuracies, constant charging.

Well manufacturers now have wireless latency down to within 1ms or even the same as wired. As for inaccuracies.... like what? They all use the same sensors, so only the human is the difference. Recharging, well I recharge my mouse once a month, no biggy.

Other than saving money, I just don't see why you'd use wired, which has the other disadvantage of the wire not allowing totally free movements.

It's not just hardware for lag, software (windows 10, games) can be dodgy with wireless. I'd rather not have to deal with that. Wired is so much simpler. In terms of charging, I use my mouse 10-15hrs a day. It's not beneficial for me. I appreciate your input though.
