Nice for pointing it out, apparently its more curved & has DTX v2 ... even tho after a quick search no one can tell the difference or if its on/not (lol) What are the differences between the original Arctis 7 and the 2019 Edition? We listened to customers and made our amazing wireless headset even better. The headband has been redesigned based on the Arctis Pro to provide a more curved look and better fit for all head sizes. Comfort is also enhanced with thicker ear cushions. All Arctis 7s now include DTS Headphone:X v2.0, the latest surround sound technology from DTS.

pcmustard

Hmm not a great saving on the arctis 7, don't know about the rest.

cobjtype

These are for the 2019 improved version. Currys sells only the old version. Key differences here: reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/9cngtk/arctis_7_2019_edition/?utm_source=reddit-android

Think these are aimed more at adults.

FireOnAWire

Classic Nintendo. Hopefully custom firmware will unlock it soon enough. Gimping your hardware to push people onto a stupid app is beyond ridiculous. Is Nintendo Japan (HQ) from a different planet or something. It's 2018 and they're still behind XBOX 360 online functionality at launch 2006 (excited)

migavupe

Switch does have Bluetooth audio but Nintendo are keeping it turned off, it was accidentally turned on a while back and quickly patched back out. You can also bodge it together with a usb Bluetooth dongle.

jplewis76

My lad uses the ps4 gold 2.0 set up that I picked up for about £60 earlier in the year. Does the job well

Heat added, cheers OP. People are only voting cold because they're not prepared to pay for quality - apparently cheaper means better quality on here. I personally prefer the Astros, but Steelseries are still a good brand.

fattyuk

Ironically the people whinging are the people who probalay have no intention of buying anything

PsillyPseudonym

That sums up the reaction nicely!

Wish this site had gold star comments!

"What's that? 20% off their entire range on their website? Is it compatible with my Commodore 64? It's not 25% off ... and you can get an inferior model from a different brand for £10 less over at this random chinese company, but there's only 1 item and it's damaged stock ... COLD!!!!" /s .... If by "lots" you mean one, then yes.

retrend

Lots of driver complaints as well.

Joshimitsu91

Looks like two people have complained about the quality of the wire, failing after some use. In my experience this is the sort of issue Steelseries would replace under RMA if it were to happen.

retrend

Not great reviews on amazon for this.

Neil_Coombes

Nice set, heat added. I was looking at these myself today but I ended up picking a set of Logitech G933's as I really needed wireless and the £85 odd I paid for them in the Amazon Warehouse was about my limit.

200s also 34.99 on amazon at the moment.

worthinger

I assume so as they ask you to buy the old style xbox one audio adaptor with it in on the the Steelseries website - it's two separate mic/phones plugs but comes with a little cable that combines them.

donmixes85

Is it good for xbox one?

EagleUK

Additional 15% off for student with uniday code from here Seems to have been fixed, can no longer seem to stack this on top.

The 200s are 34.99 at currys at the moment...if you only have one head.

PLEASE NOTE: Ordering from Steelseries between Jan and end of Feb 2016 will result in waiting until their backlog of orders have gone through. They won't tell you this until you file a support ticket. For me, the order page said 3 days maximum delivery but support are saying "hopefully in 2 weeks it will be dispatched".

mikat

Has anyone not had their order shipped email yet? I sent an email an hour ago asking what happened to my order, then suddenly received a dispatch email.

had the same bundle from PC world , the headset broke (something to do with the wires) due guarantee I got a voucher for 50 pounds and bought the Razer kraken pro's for £10 with voucher

551625

Lol the headset is really old now and can be had for £30-£40. I've had one myself and they are junk. No decent players I know use that mouse.

LiamLFC92

More like £50 headset, £40 mouse, £10 Mouse pad

551625

£30 headset. £20 mouse. £10 mouse pad. Seems about right.

slannmage

Yeah optical mice are so much better than laser for gaming, I'm guessing it has on the fly DPI buttons as well which are needed. I wouldn't bother with headsets though, buy a desktop mic and a dedicated pair of headphones, get much more for your money.
