If your interested in experiencing the wonderful sound of vinyl (for the first time maybe? Or the first time in a long time?) please dont do it with a piece of rubbish like this.

Have you heard these hipsters, eww don't pay your vinyl on this rubbish. if it's what you can afford them buy it God I played my vinyl on an alba stereo when I was a kid in my bedroom.

But thank you for your comment. I assume you have bought one and returned for refund. Perhaps you would like to tell us what went wrong. All constructive comments would be warmly received.

Fine if you want to dip your toe in to vinyl with it's resurgence as it doesn't say if it's belt or direct drive. not something i'd go for i've had a cheap record player before the belt got loose enough it couldn't play records at the right speed

this will ruin your vinyl collection.....pay more, get a project..

Ad hominem attack, how interesting. Buy a second hand one that isn't terrible for the same price

Ad hominem would be if he were attacking you, rather than the substance of your argument. As there was no substance to your argument, I'm going to allow it.

Agree with funkymartyn, these have a ceramic cartridge (yes -- really) and the tracking weight is massive. They'll carve up 'modern' (read anything made after about 1975) records in a few plays.

There are decent decks available on eBay for a tenner. You don't need an expensive audiophile one -- just something good quality and Japanese from the 1980s or 90s.

Also totally agree. False economy.
