Oh go on then! Will help with the wife's back chatting.
Cheers for sharing your find! Not my cup of tea, but you can't really go wrong with 20 bottles for a tenner
Thanks.... I'll have some of that

20 black eyes for £10 bargain
These are 284ml bottles so £1.76 a litre / £1 a pint.

£1 a pint for Stella bottled beer sounds like a deal to me! So around 10 pints for a Tenner can’t moan 🍺
Also Becks for a tenner but think bottles even smaller..
Heat was added

Has been this for a long time £8 at Dover
Ordinary generic lager but very well marketed to create an illusion of something more.

Good price though.
What was the advertising tag line again? "Reassuringly expensive" wasn't it? Yeah, right.

Yes, they are in my local Co-op stores.

My local also had various cans and bottles of lager, beer and cider reduced by 75%.

I got some 473ml aluminium bottles of Corona Lager (4.5% ABV) for 55p each and some 355ml cans of Brooklyn Scorcher IPA (4.5% ABV) for 50p each.

They also had 330ml bottles of Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat Beer (4.2% ABV) for 50p, 500ml bottles of Stowford Press Cider (4.5% ABV) for 50p and 500ml bottles of Guinness Dublin Porter (3.8% ABV) for 50p.

And maybe best of all if you have old school tastes and don't mind drinking 2.8% ABV lager - 4 x 440ml cans of Skol for 56p.

Some other beers and lagers were reduced by less.

Obviously stock was going fast, but it could be worth checking in your local.

Well if our lass wakes up with 2 black eyes she's been told twice
Everybody likes different beer but I prefer Budweiser . I have been Southgate Asda store today and Budweiser bottle was only cost 50p each bottle
33116753-VLenN.jpg. It is only £12 for 24 bottle basically equal to Stella price but completely better taste. Thanks OP

Sorry, but I can't take seriously a beer that has rice as one of its main ingredients (Bud).
