Thanks. My plumber wants to fit mostly 1000 x 600s...will these be as good as the standard 1000 x 600 22 rads? Im assuming the pipe work may need to be altered to fit these?
Water in/out in the middle of the bottom of the radiator by the looks of it, so not possible to do a straight swap with mine.

you need to check the btu output and compare really, connections are in middle , i guess makes them more efficient they are 4415btu and 1294w for the 600x800 stelrad eco

EDIT: Just looked at screwfix and there 600x1000 which i presume is the size you are thinking is 4741btu or 1389w, not a great deal in it,the stelrad takes up less space, speak to your plumber he can advise best i have limited knowledge

    Silly question : 600x800. Is this 600 wide or 600 high ?

first number is height , 2nd number is width
Unless you have a trade account with Plumbcenter you will find most prices are very expensive. These rads might seem cheap but if you buy anything else check the prices first.

Good advice m8, i thats why i only listed those 3 sizes as they are very cheap compared to elsewhere
Thanks for this post. I needed a much bigger one so got a 600x1600 for just £55. Excellent.
Thanks for posting. Has anyone managed to get these? I had an email from plumb center saying the following:

I have checked to see if we have any availability at all other branches or at our distribution centers but they also do not have stock of this item.

I have also contacted the manufacturer for this item who have confirmed that this item is no longer in production with no replacement or alternative they could advise.

This is a blatant lie as I have spoke to stelrad who have said this is not the case. I'd be interested to see how others got on?
    My order was also cancelled.

Reply back saying you have spoken to Stelrad, i guess it was a clearance price like the cheap boiler i recently posted, some people did get hold of some
