Heat, can't remember who narrates it, but I can remember everyone saying it was excellent.

Just a quick reminder that there are a lot of other Stephen King Audiobooks are cheap this month.:

Wow 44 hours! Good deal. The movie scared me to death. One of the scariest stories I've ever heard.

been looking for this, must have just been released on audible! heat!

I really like the idea of audiobooks but I feel like I'm a sellout if I don't read it with my own eyes lol - just me?

Awesome, been looking for this since the £4.99 Stephen King sale, but Audible didn't have IT available. So not only has this only just been added but at an amazing price too

I downloaded this a few weeks back wasnt on audible tho

I'm sure the audio version is worth it - heat for the price.

I'm reading it just now. About half way through and really enjoying it. Talking forever to work through it for some reason but doesn't feel like a slog. Some of the writing is fantastic - I don't usually get emotional about, well, anything but the early (possibly opening?) chapter about little George Denbrough and his paper boat almost had me in bits.

Having never seen the movie, I really can't wait to find out what happens.

love Stephen King books and this price for a book of this calibre is amazing

This has the strangest scene in it, near-ish the end. You'll know it when you get there, and it left me feeling very very uncomfortable - part of me wonders if it should be cut out, it's that bad!

The whole thing is not safe for kids, but this particular scene isn't really suitable for anyone who gets offended at basically anything.

However, ignoring this one scene, this is a tremendous book - one of his finest I believe, and at 44 hours, it's superb value. Will make many, many car journeys fly by.

Been looking for this for a while. Started listening on YouTube a few years back but couldn't find the rest of it after hearing a fair few hours. Good spot op

Not sure that many Stephen King books are actually safe for kids ;p

This book is scary enough to read. Hard to imagine listening to it being read to you... oO

+1. I have the book on my e-reader ready to read on my holiday in the Canaries next week. I also don't think I would have the inclination to spend a total of 45 hours listening to someone reading it (no pun intended) out loud, however well done. It's a big book but I can read it a lot faster than that myself anyway. This is still a good deal for audible book fans though so voted hot.

I usually listen to Audiobooks while I'm doing housework, working in the garden, or while I'm driving.

I love audiobooks. They make the commute to and from work something I look forward to. Heat added!

Love Stephen King. Would also recommend the dark tower series. It's is epic and the movie of this is released next year.

Thanks OP this is one of my favourite films so I'm looking forward to listening to the book

Which scene? Is it in the movie as I don't remember anything of the sort?

Ok I just read what it is. It wasn't in any of the copies I have seen so either it did not make it to the directors cut, or they were edited out (which probably makes some sense...) The scene is referenced as number 1 in the following article for anyone interested houstonpress.com/art…394

I'm reading this just now... page 912... only 460 to go... woo
