Ahhhh....Pandora....the iPhone of jewellery

Overpriced, overhyped & essential for the fashion sheep !!

Even at £15 expensive for a simple mass produced bead containing about £2 worth of silver

That being said I'm voting hot if only to save the sheep from paying £30 for that same simple mass produced bead containing about £2 worth of silver

Haha! You are probably right corred1964 but seeing as I too am now a proud owner of one , by way of a recent xmas present I am now one of those sheep. In the endless search of a better value for money charm .

I also received a bracelet for Christmas. I actually laughed at our local Pandora store assistant as when I asked her to show me the charms on sale in store the "sale price" was 5% lower than the full price. I suppose some discount is better than none.

I managed to buy a nice snake one from jewellery republic last week in the sale. Got it for £9 delivered. Arrived 2 days ago and its lovely. If I find any others I will post them on here :-)

It's only one charm so cold from me, not even a proper letter! Rest are £30

Could be useful if you are called Phoebe ;-)

To be honest Pandora are sold at high prices as they are then considered exclusive, but at the end of the day the bracelets are simple snake chains with about £20 in silver value & as I said the charms have about £2 silver value.

People buy into the concept that if it costs a lot it must be exclusive & quality.......not always the case

I got a pandora bracelet 2 years ago and i love the fact I can customise it to what I want. I never buy them unless they r reduced and each charm has a meaning behind it or I won't buy it.

Reading Ebay guidlines on fake Pandora, and having spoken to a manageress in my local Derby Pandora store, it is almost impossible to identify fake and genuine Pandora products so there is little point in paying the stupid rip off prices.
