Steve Jobs is, without a doubt, one of the most iconic innovators and entrepreneurs of modern times. A great thinker, his tremendous vision was able to help fashion much of the world in which we live. For anyone else, such musings would come off as hyperbole—but for Steve Jobs, it’s simply the truth. If it wasn’t for the keen insight of Jobs, the modern smartphone, tablet, and computer might have looked very different. With his work on legendary products such as the iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Mac, he helped introduce the world to a new era of tech—one where ease of use and simplicity were in focus rather than building complex and unwieldy technology just for the sake of it.

This book explores his tremendous input in the world of technology, as well as his just as intriguing personal life. Keep reading to learn more about the life and legacy of Steve Jobs.

TLDR: He was a nasty man who was very good at business. The end.

He was gone in a Flash But Flash outlasted him.
    I hate bully boss's.
He screwed his partner Woz out of cash very early on, so I guess that tells you what you need to know.
But Karma played out well and Woz is still with us enjoying life.
Sadly history will forget all the bad, and Steve will be seen as a hero.

I really like apple as a company and the products it creates but after reading his biography many years back, it really opened my eyes to his nastiness. I'd personally recommend watching or reading about steve wozniak, tony fadell, jony ive over steve jobs

I wonder if in the book they talk about the forced labour used in China? or whether it's just about Jobs in a setting outside Apple

His death is a reminder to everyone that there are more important things than money. Don’t get me wrong money is important but not at all cost, he was a true genius.

wouldn't go that far he was smart and clever but wasn't a genius. (edited)

Can we read this book on an Android device?

There are better books. I forget the name but there’s one about how Google innovated by buying Android and wholesale copying Blackberry devices, and well we know how that story panned out.

I would guess that most successful business people like Jobs didn't get to where they are by being nice, I bet it's a dog eat dog world they live in.

Just get the official biography, it's honestly one of the best I've ever read. These free 40 page biographies that keep appearing are absolutely trash, 40 pages is the opening chapter of Winston Churchills (God) biography!
