The world was watching in 1972 as 11 Israeli athletes were murdered at the Munich Olympics. This is the story of what happened next.

In Israel, the handsome and charming Avner (Eric Bana) is deeply in love with his pregnant wife. Domestic bliss is short-lived; immediately following the "Black September" attack in Munich's Olympic village, Avner, the son of an Israeli hero, is summoned by his country's famed secret service agency, the Mossad, to carry out violent retaliations against those Palestinian terrorists allegedly behind the massacre.

Commanded from afar by prickly government agent Ephraim (the inimitable Geoffrey Rush), Avner and his team of handpicked men - pugnacious South African Steve (Daniel Craig), goofy ex-toy maker Robert (Matthieu Kassovitz), morally conflicted Carl (Ciaran Hinds) and terse professional Hans (Hanns Zischler) - must deal with some shady, nefarious international figures as they track down their Palestinian prey. Their mission takes them from the villas of Rome to a seedy hotel in Cyprus and with each successful kill, Avner's iron will begins to dissolve as guilt and doubt begin to take hold of his conscience.

great film

A highly rated film, but i found it a little boring.

An amazing film - very well done.

Fantastic price.

Wasn't really my kind of film, but I can understand why many people like it. Good price too, so giving it a hot vote.

Not keen on any film making terrorists out as "hard done to"
Far as I'm concerned, ANY terrorist is lower than a cockroach

May be being a bit hard on this one though - but what I read about it put me off seeing it.
Seemed to be keen on appeasing the politically correct Guardian-reading types

So you let someone else review form your opinion.

Really enjoyed this film. Another spielberg classic.

Depends on how you define terrorism. If you accept the UN definition of terrorism then the USA and UK are terrorist countries for illegally invading Iraq, the US and Uk soldiers are terrorists and the Iraqi's are the resistance.

In this movie, as Spielberg is a Zionist Jew, he will make is look like the Jews were the victims. Remember that Israel is nothing but a colonialist, racist, apartheid regime, who has stolen the land from the indigenous Palestinian Jews, Christians and Muslims. It should be noted that these athletes were probably in the Zionist Army and had Palestinian blood on their hands.

Someone kick this guys soap box away for god (or Mohammeds) sake.
Instead of turning this thread into a political platform lets just give your views on whether the film is any good.
In my opinion its worth £2.99 of anyone's money!!
