If you're keen on getting into veg gardening, then a heated propagator is genuinely a game-changer. You really need to start germinating things like chillies in March and tomatoes in March/April to get a good crop, and mine went from a 2 week germination to 3-4 days!

If you don't mind spending a bit more, then I highly recommend the Garland Super 7. Comes with 7 small trays so you can do a larger range of things in one go.

My tomato, pepper and other seeds have germinated already using propagators. These are essential for a head start.
