Keepass2 is available free on a wider range of devices and is widely use and well respected. Free all the time so what's the advantage of getting locked into a more restrictive proprietorial product?

I never trust a software if there are more than 1 blinking download now button on the page
No online access to passwords. USB/Bluetooth authentication replaces master password, hence it's not two-factor.

LastPass is the best of it's kind. £1.49 a month well worth it.

The point is NOT to hand all your passwords across to a third party that may not be secure. Why pay for a less secure product? Lastpass has 'form'. Not blaming them, they try hard and are probably as good as any other third party - it is their cloud model is inherently more vulnerable to being hacked than a locally encrypted product from a trusted and open source.

Consider reviewing your security.

I wouldn't trust my all my passwords to a 3rd party website, I use 1Password on all my devices and a PC and Mac, all my passwords protected by 1 master password stored locally.

I've used Keepass for many years. Have the portable version on a USB stick too.
I just keep a password file on defferent devices including my phone.
Lastpass with 2 factor authentication for me. Easy to use and work across all platforms.

That's why you need 2 factor where you can enable.

And honestly, the point of lastpass is you can use insane long and difficult passwords like Avh,e}A75%^$%=!m without memorizing it, even if someone hacks them one day, imagine the chance, and how long it would take them to Brute Force exactly your password.

You don't use lastpass to remember passwords like Bobby1988

Don't get me wrong, my opinion is not against you, or the deal you posted thank you for your contribution
I also use keepass. Great non net based info encryptor.
I use it for more than log ins. Crypto coin address details etc...

Lastpass has been free for the last year or so including multiple device syncing. You only need Premium for the 'advanced' features like password sharing.

Yeah, But I'd advise downloading from keepass.info/ind…tml as I don't trust that link above, unless you want targeted marketing spamming your inbox

Good point - but even better to get it from your local distro repository if you are a good Linux person.
