Brilliant show

Any idea when series 6 is out?

Great show and it's laughs a minute with Jack & Victor.

Stu, Amazon.Co.Uk have series six on pre order at £14.99 with a September 3, 2007 despatch

It's absolutely criminal that this show doesn't get more prime time airing on the BBC - it knocks the socks off many other shows.

I love this programme and living in England missed the first few series and when it did start to be shown got it confused with the much much inferior "Game On" sitcom. BUT I think its still overpriced (it should be £20 to £25) so hopefully the price will drop a bit more....

It's back on BBC2 this thursday night at 10pm-don't know if it's a new series or repeats.

Said this in another Still Game deal someone posted... That date just doesnt seem too realistic. Season 6 starts 12th July, and there is 7 episodes (1 per week). This means the last episode airs 23rd August. Thats just 11 days from TV to DVD? That will be the quickest Broadcast->DVD release in history, and it's never been that efficient for previous seasons. Just cant see that date being kept to... could be wrong though.

Anywhoo... fans of still game will be delighted to the news that there will be a Still Game Christmas AND new years special! In previous years it's been a chewin the fat and christmas special - but not this year!

I thought that date was a wee bit too early as well.

However, according to the BBC Shop website they also state a September 2007 release date.

......"PRE-ORDER NOW! Be one of the first to own Still Game: Complete Series 6 (DVD).

You can order now and receive it on the official release date of 03/09/2007. You will not be charged until your order is ready for despatch....."

Some fans might like to know there is a DVD of a live theatre show recorded in Cottiers Theatre, Glasgow staring Ford, Greg and Paul in their respective roles.

Language is a lot more strong, and better for it :-D Rated 18.

STILL GAME Recorded Live at Cottiers Theatre Glasgow.

Im ready to eat my hat in that case Really didnt see FnG Productions and the BBC being that quick with getting a DVD out - hats off to them if they stick to it as thats damn fast.

I have the Cottiers Theatre DVD (Im a HUGE still game fan, in case that wasnt made clear with my ramblings earlier :P)... It's great, but the personalities on it are a little different to what were used to, but its a very early DVD from before Season 1 I think, so the characters were still being developed.

Would definately pay to see them to another live show... Kings Theater would be the best place for them - the whole of Glasgow and indeed Scotland would be there.

By the way, Play.com have Season 9 on pre-order for cheaper than the BBC. And play do free delivery too which BBC doesnt, I dont think.

Bargain!

 Great price for the new series, thanks.

Shamefully, I only started to watch the tv series after seeing the Cottiers show on DVD despite being constantly told to watch the series on tv.

Now fully up to date I can't wait for the new series to start.

Coming from the East End of Glasgow we've only just got a colour telly.:-D

(I'll get me coat)

Ahh, a true Weegie. Just outside of Paisley myself.
