White numbers on a white background, brilliant design...

You can’t tell the time without the numbers?
Lies .. they DO make a noise ..

I've got two of them and they rattle when the hand moves round.

Nope, I got one in a French IKEA on holiday last year (don't ask) and it is silent.

Maybe your second hand is more sooty than sweep?

Bought two, they are so noisy...
I have a couple of these, they are definitely quite noisy and seem to go through batteries quite quickly.

No disturbing ticking noise, you get a disturbing grinding noise instead.

It's just a terrible design, might as well be no numbers at all

Easily solved with a black felt tip pen ..

It was a joke comment. Would rather pay delivery than queue for so long and put myself at risk.

Agree with you, these do go through batteries quickly. Remember changing in October /November and it seems to have slowed down in the last couple of days. Presumably requires a change!
£3.95 for delivery - can you pick a time?
I also have a stoma that tells me the time, when the bags full.

Wee bit cryptic, Louis Armstrong, he had a hit record with a track entitled 'We have all the time in the world' which you have when you can tell the time. I'll get my coat :-)

The song was 'What a Wonderful World' by the immortal Satchmo.

Yeah, unbelievably cryptic.

Anyone know what queues are like after the first day craziness?

He also had a hit with a song called "We have all the time in the world" as HPMan says, it was used in one of the Bond films.

Yes! You, and HPMan are right, of course, I remember it now, in 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'. Oh dear, even worse, it is a song I have loved, but somehow my crummy memory conflated it with 'What a Wonderful World'.
I got this yesterday and it’s totally silent so not sure why people are saying that it’s loud?

I have two and they are distractingly loud so much so they are off to the Charity shop as soon as they reopen and if they’ll accept them.
