not bad if you own a pre 1998 car, but for the modern cars they seem an obsolete item due to the sophisticated immoblisers and anti- drill locks etc.....staying mutual

if you look at police statistics many cars are being stolen everyday with or without sophisticated immoblisers also this acts as a visual deterent so as car theives wont cause any damage i.e trying to steal a car

Granted cars are stolen everyday , but those stolen through actual break ins accounf for only 14% (see link). The majority are taken through stolen keys and keys being left in the ignition, therefore the thief would have the key to the stoplock in any case. My argument is not that it is an unnecessary product, I was trying to say this is not necessary for the more modern cars.

good price and... interesting statistics... looking like nicking the car is the "bonus" for a burglar.
