Where have you been? Next it’ll be HDMI cables and phone leads
They are pretty decent but it's worth checking that the lids fit.

They usually have a couple of different colours but you can find the black ones being sold quite regularly.

£1 for a storage box? Is this in all the £1 shops? I’ll buy about 20!

I found it on their website so i assume its in all shops, but maybe you could ring your local and see if they have it in
I've bought these from poundland before and they are great boxes for storage . They are quite good quality and a handy size. They are a bit smaller than the regular one's and they only come in black.

Bought a few of these before. The quality isn't great but more than good enough for £1 and at the end of the day it is just a box!

Good idea. In my experience these sell incredibly quickly and get restocked randomly.

I don't buy a lot from pound shops but I'm always in them having a nose

Or a Mouse or stick on bin numbers. They've sold these for years and although just cheap they serve their purpose.

I think that is what happened, because these boxes are usually warped and the lid doesn't fit. But if you've got a spare 15 minutes, you can sort through the boxes and lids until you find a pair that fit. Think of it as a free Poundland version of the Crystal Maze "Industrial zone" challenge

P.S. Play this on your phone while you do it
Not sure what this site is coming to - currently 574 degrees of heat for something which has been sold regularly for a year or more ??????
Not a dig at the op, who seems to only just have seen them, but there are over 500 other people who don't open their eyes, or maybe just add heat to everything without thinking.

PS - if you use one of the dehumidifier packs inside, it's a good way to store stuff in a slightly damp environment, if you don't have anywhere else.
Some poundland stores have 2 smaller packs for a pound, and I find one of those lasts for a few months, even when opening the lid a few times a week.

At the current points to votes ratio, means about 80 people voted it hot.
good boxes for the price, but they totally stink. takes months for smell to disappear from them.
Bought these a few months ago and using them as shower filter for my quarantine fish tank. Video from pondguru on youtube.
As some has mention they are not the best quality. But spend some time and you will be able to find some that fit well and not warp.

The point of this site is to let others know of a good deal on an item regardless whether its a one off or most of the time.
Perhaps people dont visit poundland everyday like your goodself so wouldnt know they would sell things like this
I second on the lids. Out of 10 boxes you might find one that the lid actually locks in place. Good buy if you find one.
Why is this hot? It was always at 1£. I have bought the same boxes at different times from Poundland. The value for money is good, I agree. But this isn't hot deal though.

I supposed hot deal is one which is highly reduced from the current price. Am I missing something?
Sorry i have no control over the heat or coldness of deals but iv never seen these before in poundland and i do go in afew times a month for bits.. i was delighted to find these as im always needing storage for my kids ever growing toy collection and for a quid i thought it was an awesome price as wilko's is £2 ..iv never seen these this cheap..

So while its not on an offer or deal, i would have loved to have seen/heard about these ages ago before buying from ikea..

Perhaps this could be moved to discussion or somewhere else? Where else could a post like this be posted for next time? thanks

You’ve just made me look an idiot! For your information, when I went to the local pound shop, I found things I never thought I could buy for a £1. I ended up spending close to £80+ . Beat that!
I need too many of these
