Now I know this is a pretty niche' deal but it's a fantastic price!

Other frames and bikes available from £759 if this deal is a bit rich for you but if youre serious about your bikes this is a cracking deal

Storck have created the first super light aerodynamic frame with performance and rider comfort in the Aernario. ‘Sectional Aerodynamic Tube Shapes’ provide ‘Ground Parallel’ aerodynamics, plus strength and stiffness where required with ‘Vibration Dampening’ for rider comfort. The Aernario BASIC is largely identical to the Aernario G1 and uses a least expensive lay-up process and marginally heavier grade carbon fibre, plus High Gloss paint finish.

Rethink:
Whilst most Aero frames are designed with Aero shaped tubes, they tend to be very stiff and transmit horrible road vibration through the frame. The Storck Aernario downtube profile was developed using CFD or Computer Flow Dynamics to create a perfect airflow over the tube in a ‘Ground Parallel’ plane. The Carbon lay-up process provides the Storck Characteristics of additional stiffness in the BB and head-tube area. The top tube provides a clean airflow with hidden seat clamp. This also means the Storck Carbon seatpost can offer even more comfort for the rider with a shorter seat tube.

Well, I know nothing about bicycles (and at my age I'm not going to spend a lot of time trying to find out) but this has to be a cracking deal for those who do. Me, I couldn't tell Storck from butter.
I like to think I know a fair bit about bikes. Still I don't think this is a good deal. It's just a good carbon frame. You can buy a quality carbon frameset for half the price.
It's all marginal gains. And unless you make a living as a cyclist, it just isn't worth it.

agreed, better off spending the xtra on a personal trainer, you'll get much more gain from a PT than the tiny gain you'll get from this.

As someone that knows a thing or two about cycling you can't honestly believe that theres no diffrence in this and a frameset half the price?

If that was the case we'd all be riding round on £50 bikes from Tescos if there was no diffrence after all its all just marginal gains

We got on fine with black and white TVs and one channel not so long ago too.
good deal since it's a really good frame. I don't like its looks though and I wouldn't trade my Bianchi for anything

A. Thats because black and white TVs were the only option. B. what kind of a stupid comparison is that???

But I didn't say there's no difference between this and a frame half the price, did I?
This is maybe what - 10% - 20% better, but twice as expensive. And how exactly is the better measured in this case, if the weight is the same, and so is stiffness?
I can appreciate a good frameset. But don't see the point of spending more than you have to. That's my opinion.
BTW I haven't voted, so no need to get excited.

You're not really making a point here. It's not a product for the masses like a TV, now is it?
Some of the best looking frames I've ever seen in the flesh. Their Alu frames are the neatest I've seen. Good deal for someone with deep pockets.
Just spent this much on a project black s works venge frameset, I've never heard of storck bit if the Rrp is correct then this is a big discount...and therefore a hot deal.
If you have the money to spend on a frameset like this and you enjoy cycling, it's a good deal. £1150 off the Rrp.

The comparison is perfectly valid. Yes, you can get by on something basic, but now you have the option to have something nicer that not everyone needs/wants.

And there is my point in a nutshell, it's not a mainstream product for everyone. As I said above 90% of people might not gain any tangible benefit but some might just enjoy the fact they have a well engineered product. When TVs were black and white nobody died from lack of resolution or colour, most people would be fine with a £200 720p LCD and yet 55" OLED seem to fly out the door. Nobody needs them, do they? Does the news inform you better? Are comedians jokes funnier?
