Do you happen to have a link for that? (when it was £19 each I mean?), thanx.

Not sure why this gets such a negative response from the OPs price. I didn’t use it since I received it two months ago based on the negativity, but last week I thought what the heck, I’ve got lots of photos on my iPhone and sd cards. Transferred them all easily and can have a slideshow of photos I forgot I took on my tv. I can easily get them off the connect by the canon connect app. Good storage and displaying device.

Yes very easy, just use the canon connect app and select the photos from your phone and send to the connect. Same the other way around via the app.

Tried to transfer the photos off my phone and can't find a away to select ALL photos...don't fancy selecting all 1467 separately :o

I'd echo that. It's honestly the most frustrating piece of tech I've ever used. So slow, truly awful software, the remote to control the thing responds like a TV from the eighties, you need the same dumb remote to control it, videos don't upload....the list goes on and on, NFC doesn't work (on Sony NFC-enabled camera, "works" on Android phone but just opens a web page multiple times). It's shocking that Canon shipped this. It's more like something you might pick up as an ultimately disappointing curiosity from a no name brand on Aliexpress. The only remotely positive thing I'd say is fair dues to the OP for finding at such a decent price that is almost not worth my while returning it. Which I'm sure was Canon's intention.

No, it just fits Canon. However, the Sony lens you gave in the link seems pretty good > REVIEW

slow lens. f/2.8 constant or what's the point?

Newbie here. Will this work with Sony a6300? If so is it better than this

Canon EF-S 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS Lens £269 Delivered @ Canon Store

Price has dropped from earlier posting. Now at £269 makes this even more of a bargain!

I've updated the description, as yes it was incorrect. I did complain to Canon and they allowed me to exchange for the STM version. There was some 'fun and games' on their website when I posted this, as there was only the USM and STM listed on their site in the morning, then this IS Only lens was added later on in the day. And strangely has been there since at the same price.

I persume it’s not the same lens as this is the USM lens any good?

Looks like the "overview" section was incorrect and has since been corrected. Therefore this should be expired or at least the title should be corrected (remove STM) which others have pointed out is listed at £397.99.

STM version £ 397.99,zoomlenses Non STM version £ 269.00

This £269 isn't STM lens.

Noooooo....what have they done to the beautiful object that was the 70-300 IS USM? It now looks like like a toilet roll inner just like all the other new lenses. Please someone tell me I've got this wrong.

What is that monstrosity in the mount end of the lens? An LCD screen on a lens screams 1 more irrelevant thing to break. Seems like a pointless addition to me.

Not a marketing ploy, more an incentive. I purchased a lens (£1699.00) without even knowing the cashback deal was on and if you think that a high end camera " doesn't really outperform a camera in the £300 - £500 price range" then you are a moron...

Panamoz would pay any bill for any warranty work I guess, just that they use Canon authorised repairers (not necessarily Canon at Elstree).

Hi madmackem, Pardon me for asking ( I genuinely don't know the answer) but how can they use authorised Canon service centres for warranty repairs? I honestly thought that grey imports were not covered by full canon warranty so firms offered their own warranty?

I have bought 2 Sony lenses from Panamoz recently and I've used their warranty on two items. One of those items was out of the official 1 year UK warranty and Sony charged me to have it checked/fixed. Panamoz refunded me the cost I paid for the check/repair, as it was still within their 3 year UK warranty.

Panamoz are excellent, use authorised Canon service centres for warranty. Very quick delivery too. Just got a 5dmk4 from them

what a daft reply

Thank you.

Actually it's not a daft question. After all, lenses (and other camera gear) aren't designed for an absolute single use. If you think they are then please do some reading up. What's wrong with people asking about & sharing photography experience with different kit? Oh, and if you go back and re-read my original question, I asked what the lens is best used for. You answered with "taking pictures" when in actual fact, the camera takes the pictures. Not the lens. So I agree, your answer was a daft answer...buddy.

You asked the daft question, you got a daft answer, p****k BUDDY!

you are the one asking for help here - its a 10-18mm lens if that doesn't mean anything to you then probably read up some its a wide angle zoom so its best for things you need a wide angle zoom, usually landscape architecture etc but can be anything

The show was great and well worth the vist to the NEC. Still on until Tuesday. Double Cashback on qualifying Canon purchases at the show. There are 3 retailers there offering the promotion, Calumet, London Camera Exchange and Camera World so you can shop around for the best price.

What about Sony? Do you think Sony will do anything? I need something like an a6500 but don't wanna spend 1k

Canon don't sell at the show. It has the same terms as this. last year it was double cashback. year before it wasn't. Unfortunately I'm not Canon so have no more idea than you do what this years' plans are, but it's 30 years of EOS. So I'm at least hopeful.

Not a bad deal? I believe the promotions ends 31st this month, but could be sooner.

And you can tell the difference in real life?

Isn't Canon's warranty worldwide? I know this doesnt exactly matter, I had a big Sigma EX lens and they repaired it as per global warranty, but I still got a lecture for it. :/ I'm sorry for buying a lens in the country I was in...

Does that apply to all canon cameras then Bit of a sweeping statement

80D is the upgraded replacement for the 70D, so it's obviously better. But is also more expensive - at this price the 70D could be considered better value.
