Decent price for an occasional use boot but retailer customer service is shockingly bad......also beware of added extras on checkout

i was ment to put that in a comment thanks for the reminder. i hate the way they do that a lot of sites are doing that now

You also need to know that if you need to return online purchases you cannot do so to a store, you have to post back at your own cost

Go to the shop (there are plenty of them around) - I got the same boots for £12. They aren't bad by the way. I don't know how long they will last but they are waterproof and comfortable.

If these are anything like the shoes I bought I would avoid as the soles are so thin you could feel small pebbles if you walked on them!:|

Sportsdirect own brand cold.

Totally agree about the build quality of Stormlite products. OH bought a pair of Stormlite Cliff High Walking Boots from SD via eBay, they had very thin soles that wore down & split within 3 weeks (admittedly walking approx 6 miles a day on pavement). Got on to customer services stating these were blatently unfit for purpose & they provided Freepost returns details & refunded without any argument including the next day delivery charge we'd paid for the order.
Would never buy another pair of Stormlite boots or shoes but did find Sports Direct CS to be helpful & reasonable over the issue.

Had bad experiences with both instore & online Customer services

First bought some walking boots (I am always a size 10.....but read reviews saying they were a little small so ordered an 11) which when they arrived were too small & wouldn't fit my dad who is a size 9 either......asked to return & was told as they were not faulty I had to pay to return & was refunded the price of the boot only excluding original postage.

Second occasion having bought some boots in the January sales instore (paid cash) when I first came to wear them in the summer the sole started to peel off.....took them back to the store, wanted an exchange not a refund...still in the box with sale sticker on...but as I didn't have a 6 month old receipt they refused to do anything even though they were a Sportsdirect own brand ....I ended up dumping them in the bin instore.

Have never bought from them since either online or instore
