That looks a great deal..... crank drive, 400wh battery and hydraulic brakes. Plus 21.5 kilo weight is pretty good for an Ebike.
Suss forks aren't good..... but for £850 this is a bargain.

Heated.

TranzX crank drive motor is a new one on me..... the usual are Yamaha and Bosch.

For the price & specs, i'm very tempted myself.... even though i already have an Ebike.

The £1250 promotion price of this bike's better model looks good too, for Di2 Alfine drivetrain

Even more tempted at that..... would be a massive upgrade from my front hub motor self build Ebike.

Could also spend £850 on a bbs02 motor and a 30q battery on your existing bike. Will blow the socks off this performance wise.

Great bike for the price - i had one of these plenty of power for those hills. Its a heavy bike, better on roads and light trails - trying to resist getting one as a spare

Yes, but its illegal isn't it.....
Although the legalities doesn't bother me much, but its power over range. I'm more interested in range, so i stick to legal.

Nice find

Yep, the Strada Electric at £1250 is the best deal here. Great spec with the Shimano STEPS crank drive, and Alfine Di2 electronic gears. And no cheap suspensions forks, instead a ridgid carbon blade setup, nice. A great commuter/touring ebike

No, but you could achieve and maintain 15.5mph with motor assistance a lot easier than I could on my road bike, up a gradient greater than ~3%.

Get an E-bike kit, loads of good ones out there, not that hard to DIY with a bit of internet research.

It's very easy for it to be illegal, as in they'll put out 1300W peak, but you can cap them in software to 250W, 15mph. Personally I'd rather have the extra power available for those times I'm not on a road.
