Stranger Than Fiction is an inventive comedy about a novelist (Emma Thompson) struggling to complete her latest, and potentially finest, book - she only has to find a way to kill off her main character, Harold Crick, and she'll be done. Little does she know that Harold Crick (Will Ferrell) is inexplicably alive and well in the real world and suddenly aware of her words. Fiction and reality collide when the bewildered and hilariously resistant Harold hears what she has in mind and realizes he must find a way to change her (and his) ending.

Not a great film. Watched it last weekend. I give it 5 out of 10. Good deal though.

I thought it was pretty good... Ferrel not as slapstick as usual though so don't expect that. Something different but probably not essential on Blu Ray over DVD...

why pay for a film that's not worth watching twice...where are all the jurassics and alien/aliens on blu-ray???even a region b for american psycho would be nice but stranger than fiction??

Jurassics are on there way. All Spielberg films are released over next year or so.

What the heck are you guys on about.. it's a mint film

Good price but no benefit over DVD.

A good price, but I got it slightly cheaper over a year ago from Borders. Agree with other people here - it's a watchable film, not brilliant by any means, and it's not the kind of film that needs High-Def. I would say add it to your lovefilm list rather than buy it....
