What country are they grown in?

Well it says on the label they're British. So that narrows it down a bit.

Good the Spanish ones are terrible which is probably why they are normally cheaper
These are grown under glass ans tasteless
Can't beat a bit of warm fresh air....makes everything grow better
Had some of these - Hertfordshire grown and taste good.
mine Kent. they're sweet
Apparently they were £4 before.
The other strawberries they sell are £2 for 400g, so bargain!
Good price will give them a try.
So far this year I haven't bought strawberries from anywhere that aren't either hard or totally tasteless, even splashed out on some Morrisons Best ones last week because they were reduced to £1.60, but they weren't much better than the standard ones..
Hope my store have em, struggling to keep 600g £3 tubs in stock hundreds of 400g £2 ones though last few months.
Still £4 at mine....
Loads at lincoln as a man sampling them at the door
That explains it. I saw a 6 year old girls push her little scooter loaded with large boxes of strawberries. She must be a HUKD member.
Probably tasteless Elsanta variety.

Nom nom nom...
Pitsea Tesco had 1kg trays of cherries for £4 too
very tasty I must say
Yum
Look out for Centennial, sometimes labelled as Malling Centennial. First saw these at M&S, but also at Morrisons. These have excellent flavour.
How sad is that so many people never even tried proper strawberries. Most of the junk in our supermarkets only look good and smell nice.
bought 2 kg cherries & found this strawberries next to it, eventually bought 2 kg as well. must say the strawberry is very nice, plump and sweet. but very dissapointed with the cherries. it's not the usual cherry, it is market grade, not firm and not as sweet as the usual cherries from tesco.

EAT ME! (_;)

What it doesn't say on the "British " label is ( Please eat within 12hrs or the fruit becomes a rotting smoothie ). Had to return £2 tub in the picture 5-6x in last few months as they begin to disintegrate. After being accused of having a dodgy fridge by the dep. Manager the fruit stacker told me the delivery drivers are told to reduce the temp of their vans to make more deliveries then it hits the warm store!

Tesco/Asda Meat and Fish, Lidl/Aldi Fruit and Veg, Sorted.
Got mine today. Thanjs
