Audible works on most devices, including phones, tablets, Echo, Sonos and more. It even remembers and picks up where you left off when you switch from one device to another. Magic!

Any idea how to find the same list on the app?
Thanks OP! My son is blind and we spend a fortune on audible, will help now he hasn't got as many braille resources because of no school! Now to work out how to get them to play on the echo, tried above suggestions but doesnt seem to let me.

Looks good to keep them busy - could be a long few months!
Great stuff.

Do you need an audible membership at 7.99 a month to get the free kids books?

I'll have another look. It was asking me to sign up. We already pay for amazon prime and amazon music so don't want another subscription.

Epic find - thank you
Has anyone found a way to play these on an echo?
Audible - This is appreciated by very stretched front line parents 👏👏👏
HEAT to OP - Thank you
It's their Audible Stories website, leaning towards classic books (so no Harry Potter, for example)...

Littlest Listeners (37 Books)
Authors such as Rudyard Kipling, Michael De Souza's Rastamouse, A. A. Milne, Beatrix Potter etc.

Elementary (74 books)
Jules Verne, Lewis Carroll, Ray Bradbury, L. Frank Baum, Ruskin Bond etc.

Tween (40 Books)
Jack London, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Arthur Conan Doyle etc.

Teen (66 books)
Julie Kagawa, Lovecraft, Ransom Riggs etc.
Can somebody help on how to play these on echo?

And @squeezyboy - just had a look and you can say “Alexa, open audible stories”, or “Alexa, what’s free on audible”. Or download some books and then you should just be able to ask it to “read....(title)”. Apparently it can also read any kindle books you have.
YouTube will also keep children busy for hours. I couldn't listen to a audio book for hours so I doubt my 7 year old could.

But at least with this they won't come out the other side saying "Like and subscribe!!" every 3 minutes...
Look what I just found all
Excellent resource for school. Well done
The selection is quite small, but still useful

Gina, if you’re on FB, join one of the Alexa groups and it should give the answers you need

I don't think you can - Audible are specifically saying that they can be listened to on computer, tablet or smartphone -
m.media-amazon.com/ima…pdf

Someone on Twitter suggested starting it on your phone, then using your Echo as a Bluetooth speaker though

You're not a boy then, I suppose. I guess the same could be said about me but we're boys at heart, that's what really matters 😜😜

Heated!

Anything that helps reduce cabin fever and enables families to self isolate with as little friction as possible is good.
Please can we have Harry Potter to stream for our "Kids"..... Well it was worth a shot?
Hi is this just for NHS kids?
