It's disgusting, should be an 800pt add-on, not a release which slaughters the price of our retail purchase. Just like the good old days of the Snes :whistling:

Apparently there will be bonus features for people who already own Street Fighter IV although i'm not expecting much.

Where did u hear about the bonus features?

From Eurogamer:

"Because of all these enhancements, however, SFIV and Super SFIV will not be compatible online - but there will be some sort of bonus offered to owners of both."

I also heard this. Teletext's Gamecentral seem to think that owners of SFIV will get a bonus feature for purchasing the Super edition.
Let me guess.... Costumes  Thankfully It will also be a budget release.

As another SFIV owner, I agree entirely

It's a ridiculous decision for the online community, it will break players into two camps (though arguably a 800pt expansion could do the same). In this day-and-age a new release is simply not necessary when it is essentially the same game.

I recall discussing the possibility of this happening on deal threads for the original release. I wrongly assumed Capcom would have moved with the times.

So then, when do we trade in our copies for pounds rather than pennies?

not bad but i will wait

i know ure telling me!! its just as bad as diablo 3!! I really want to know who the other characters are? I hope they bring back hotuko and Kairi from ex2, or that judo girl/boy from sf3!

hmm i can understand peeps are a bit miffed with this not being free but there are 8 new characters to play with, and they mentioned it will not be a full price game so its not too bad..

what else can they give ppl with the game already, costumes? music? a free keyring!!?? i want to know >_

I won't be trading mine and Capcom won't be getting my money for SSFIV.
