You can have the arcade edition with the season pass that's 25 quid on psn for about 15. It's a cold from me.

Cheapest is just below £20 at the moment where there is any stock.

But it is still better value then buying off PSN

Where on PSN does it say £25? It shows £35. Also, standard would update to arcade edition for free. You just have less characters without season pass.

Great price. Since the Arcade Edition launched, the standard edition of SFV has gone up in price too.

For clarity the base game will upgrade to arcade edition for free but you won't have all the characters. You can unlock them using BP but it will take forever.

The arcade edition gives you all characters from the first two seasons and it cost 15-20 which is cheaper than buying this as the season 1 pass is 7.99 and season 2 pass is 11.99. Saving you at least 10 quid if you want all the characters.

If you don't want the extra characters, or have hundreds of free hours to unlock them all, then fill your boots.

Think that's pretty clear
Yep, just echoing what others have said, if you’re interested in the additional characters it’d be more prudent to pay £17.85 for the Arcade Edition than £9.99 for the base game plus £7.99 for S1 and £11.99 for S2 (c£30).

ebay.co.uk/itm…921

Bear in mind, too, that it’s already been less than £15.

Grinding with all characters up to S2 unlocked, you should be able to grab the S3 characters relatively easily. Ish.

I totally get you. But you didn't answer my other question? It is £35 on PSN not £25 as you are pretending. Also, good point about extra grind you need to put into this to unlock characters. Wondering how many people would go that far playing it. Personally, my both copies of standard are arcade are sealed sitting in the shelf.

You are claiming arcade edition is £15, give me a link for it. As far as my understanding goes, I was the last person posting a deal for under £15 price tag for arcade edition and since then price hiked up. @silvercondor is just quoting the link from my listing which is now completely OOS (So again it is not helping anyone here). So what is the point of emphasising on something that everyone knows, already?

Long story short, not everyone is a pro SF player. Some people are happy with basics and this is the current cheapest for the basic version. If you've got an actual link for something better, then bring it on. Otherwise, stop spreading imaginary things when Arcade edition is £35 on PSN as we are talking. How's that?
Where is it stated base game upgrades to arcade edition for free please? What's the difference? Thanks!

Pop the disc in the console, and the update will start via PSN. It mainly adds the Arcade mode to the base game.

I said (or meant to say) that the 2 season passes are £25 not the game (although I got the figures wrong it's £20).

If you want the characters without the grind then this deal isn't for you. It's cheaper to buy it for £15-20 from ebay and save £10 on buying the season pass.

I don't have a link for it at £15 right now (it was this low the other day) but there is a link for a physical arcade edition with season passes included for £18 above.

The arcade edition is £35 on PSN but it's £20 or less for physical.
Don't want the season 1 and 2 characters? Willing to put hundreds of hours in to unlock them? Buy this for £10.

But if you buy the Base game then realise you want them then it will cost you £20 for the season passes. £30 total cost.

Want all season 1 and 2 characters straight away (so you can save those sweet BP to buy the cool season 3 characters you like)? Buy the physical arcade edition for £20 or less and save at least £10.

It's your choice. I'd recommend checking Google for more details.

Get your facts together if you are trying to argue something then. I know you do't have a link for the £15 arcade edition, because as I said it has expired and is no more available.
A good price, no doubt. My gripe however - and it's a big one - is the download upgrade going from this to Arcade Edition is f***ing HUGE, and this may just be my rundown PS4, but loading times are atrocious.

Much better in my humble opinion spending £5 and getting Guilty Gear (latest edition) at Base.com.

Sorry, I hadn’t realised that was out of stock. I just saw the estimated delivery of Feb 7th-8th.

Regardless, I don’t see the harm in pointing out that the base game is £9.99 here, while Arcade Edition has been - and likely will be again - available for just £5 more, but with £20 of additional content. If people have waited two years to buy a game, I’m quite sure they won’t mind waiting a little longer for a similar price drop. Even £23.75 from Amazon (in stock now) is more cost effective.

I’m speaking as someone who has sunk dozens of hours into the base game, and is considering buying Arcade Edition for S1 and S2, purely because the grind required to unlock everything is genuinely absurd. I’ve unlocked 3 characters so far (there are 12 total in S1/S2), and realistically I’d have to play hundreds - literally hundreds - of matches online to get the rest. It’s that bad.
Just sold this for £9

I wouldn't be surprised if the arcade version is exactly the same disk but just downloads and unlocks extra content. Not sure mind

That’s exactly what it is.
Disc content is the same, just disc artwork new. Arcade update needs to downloaded.

Season 1 & 2 characters are provided as one code inside the box.
