Sega is 60? Really? I thought they started in the 90s lol

The Wikipedia page is interesting. They've been around since WW2 in the US making money from slot machines, jukeboxes, and other coin operated entertainment, primarily focused on military bases - at first they went by Standard Games, and then after the war they went by 'Service Games' relating to the military. The US banned slot machines in 1952 so they started up business in Japan as 'Service Games of Japan' (they first used the name SEGA on one of their slot machines in 1954). In 1960 the business gained notoriety as they were under investigation from the US for criminal business practice so they were dissolved and simply opened two new companies to buy up the assets and continue it; these two companies operated as SEGA Inc.

Pretty much the same level repeats itself again and again.
Just downloaded the game, just played the first level, it feels like a modified version of SOR2, if you've already played the game you will know what to expect, still happy with the freebie, thanks OP, heat added.

It seems like only one stage, as it repeats itself.

So I guess these are all gonna be F2P for a few days, not keep. Pity.

I just saw the YouTube clip which says full walkthrough but is is basically the first level of streets of rage 2. Apart from the design of the level and characters, they haven't done much. The moves of Kiryu is the same of Axel's.

You keep them as once you've downloaded them, they'll be added to your library.
Downloaded this and at the same time the file downloads two Microsoft c++ versions. Played the first stage for a few ten - fifteen minutes however got a blue screen of death. Now deleted this. Pc is back and running. Disappointed.
Thanks Mat..
Hmm so more like Street of Kamurocho then?

These titles are free to keep and you can continue playing them after the 19th. After clicking play in the Steam Store, it will be added to your library.

That is not working for me. Free to keep has the icon “get game”. Free to play has the icon “play game”. When it is the icon “play game” this does not add the game to your account.

Correct. This is not a “deal”

Your mind will be blown then to learn that Nintendo was established in 1889.

Correct its free to play not keep. Cold for me
I'm not surprised that this "game" is free to play rather than "free to keep". It's just a short demo that introduces a concept that Sega did not follow through with. I really wouldn't want this taking up space in my steam library.

I mean nintendo is WELL over 100 years old, they were created at the end of the 1800s, making playing cards
I've downloaded it and says added to library so let's see if it stays.
Thanks for this
Looks like people were correct and you just have to download them

you can't download them. That's the point. There's no option to download - the only option is to 'play'. And then when I click 'play' nothing even happens. Cold deal. Pointless waste of time.

It let me download them.
After it's over if these mini games disappear from steam then that sucks, I would have hoped they let you play them again

This is what I get when I click "play" - as like I've said, there isn't a download option;

Got Steam? You need to have the Steam desktop application installed before you can install and launch Streets Of Kamurocho. Do you have Steam installed on this computer?

Yes, Steam is installedPlay this game nowNo, I need SteamRead about and download Steam

I've got steam installed so there really should be no issue but for some reason the games industry has this massive deficiency in making their online stores to a competent standard. These kind of things simply didnt happen a few years ago yet its seemingly uniform across Xbox, Ps4, steam and even Play Store that redeeming games etc its made unecessarily difficult. Why not just have an 'add to library' or 'download now' option? It's baffling how (and why) they do this. The M.O seems to be "lets see how many ways we can p*ss off our customer base by replacing 'add to library' with far more nebulous options like 'play now'". Madness.
