Would this fit a saloon?
Do you also need a lighting board for this type of carrier if it obscures your number plate and lights?
Yes I think it depends on the car but I think people should be aware that a rear mounted rack can obscure the lights and number plate.

A roof mounted rack is good if you already have roof bars.

Yes I put that in that deals comment section. Which cars it will fit

But you know what some HUKD members are like . Don't read the specs , spend half a day trying to fit them (the morning of the holiday ) - then blame everyone but themselves !

Then "Ask" on here how to fit them
Answer : first buy a car with sidebars

Cheapest way in the long run is to go to a proper bike shop and get them to advise and/or fit. Probably cost around £50 to £100 depending what is needed. A lot cheaper than damage to the car. I have even seen bikes coming off roof holders, and imagine damage could be catastrophic if not spotted in time. I always had a number plate as some officious person could issue a penalty notice. Again £20 might be cheaper than £60. I know a lot of people reading this site do not have much money, but the poor always end up paying a lot more. e.g. domestic appliances over 5 years with APR of 60%. In some ways this is obscene. Some short terms loans advertised on TV at 1299% - that should be illegal.
I've used the cheapo ones before, but always felt insecure and dodgy, ended up buying this, expensive (think you can get a 3 bike one for around £100 if you shop around) but so easy to fit on/off and brilliant fold away design, had mine for many years and still as good as new.
Looks like scratch city
What if you need to carry 3 bikes??!??!??!??

Not sure you tell me.
Help please! Would this fit a Jeep Renegade? The customer care line is closed and I don’t want to wait until tomorrow in case they run out!

Look at the photo....
Please remember to show your rear number plate at all times. It’s an offence if you don’t and yes , you can get points for it .....fair warning.

Yup. It is a saloon. Back window doesn’t lift, just the boot lid...
