Any reviews on this?
Don’t forget one for your spare keys too
Car manufacturers for you. Willing to vastly weaken security for ever so slightly more convenience entering and starting your car? Want higher insurance premiums? Want the fury and stress of dealing with crime on your doorstep?

Good. We invented a way thieves can easily whizz away in your brand new vehicle in a few seconds from right off your driveway. Just because you don't want to press a button on your remote to unlock it or insert a key in the ignition to start it.

Interested? Sure you are!

I had this debate when my new car came standard with keyless. I decided I'd just leave the key on the downstairs table. Figure if there gonna take it might as well stay out the house

Why not go one step further and leave the car on the street, running all night with the key in the ignition? Figure if they’re gonna take it might aswell stay off your drive

That doesn't really make sense in this thread unfortunately and neither does the snake oil comment.

These aren't for paranoid / weird / my tv is listening to me / world is flat type people, they actually solve a big problem.
I recommend a Ghost alarm for any keyless entry car, had a few fitted over the years and well worth the money

I disagree - only the paranoid would buy this, and go to the trouble of using it, in case their fully insured car is one of the fraction of a percent that gets stolen by this method.

It doesn't work like that, the groups doing the hi tech relay stuff aren't necessarily the same as those who come in for keys. Most of the cars being stolen are the newer models of German brands with exceptions of course.

These type pouches do work, but worth considering other measures too, steering wheel locks etc, making sure your keys aren't accessible through a letter box, actually making sure your house doors are locked. As someone said, relay theft can also activate your spare if left unprotected.

Yeah you’re probably right, should probably save £2.49 on a key pouch and deal with the insurance company for many hours

I agree with you regarding the Ghost Immobiliser I have one fitted to my car, best £399 I've spent.

Is your 1995 corsa keyless anyway?

Is your 1995 corsa keyless anyway?

Good one

I have a 6 months old car with keyless, and have had cars with the system for years and years with no issues.
I bought one similar for my car. they do genuinely work, and a small price to pay to secure your vehicle
If you have a Mercedes then simply double click the lock button. Your hazards should flash 4 times and the keyless system is disabled on the car until you press a button on the remote again.

Never thought of it like that.

I do the other stuff. Minus steering lock, worth thinking about probably.

I have a GTi hence the concern really. I was always put off previously wanting something nice because of the scumbags out there.

Think mine was £300 for my Fcus RS and £350 for the 435d. I did a video on YouTube showing people how to change the code as a few asked when they seen I had one fitted to the RS on my channel
Thanks for posting

I wouldnt. I would prefer them to get a job instead of robbing people.
Let's have some compassion here, criminal gangs have got to feed their families as well. 😃
Anyone know if there is a device which makes a standard button press fob directional. So it can't be cloned by someone in a 50 m radius . So the key signal just points in one direction towards the car
