Still pricey. Would have to be 50% to be worth considering.

Last ditch effort to stop going bankrupt? Students with the munchies

People finally realised they were being ripped off paying £10 for a burger!
Ask for medium cook
So many better places to get a burger but if you like it 25% is good
I’ve been using this for ages. It’s not just a burger, it’s a GOOOD burger. Burgers are so simple, yet so many places can’t do one. For the small premium over a weatherspoons, these are delicious and well worth the money. Go for a medium 👌 If you don’t like much pink, go for 4oz and Double it - still medium. If no student, every other trip you get a free milkshake, side or burger with there app. Yummy!
Over priced, very very poor went on Saturday £38 for two glasses wine chips and burgers, no sides or starters or deserts ridiculous price for what you get. Place was empty too, should have taken that as a sign
It is a posh burger shop for posh people who can afford to pay , money no object. Glad they are shutting down many branches, people voting with their feet . Will be glad if they shut down completely or go bankrupt or someone else takes over and has realistic prices like Mac Donald's or KFC .

Agree, ridiculous prices and some of the burgers are pretty poor to be honest.

They're mostly empty compared to other chain restaurants next to them so I suppose they are struggling to attract customers.
Why would a poor student eat overpriceced 'gourmet' burgers? Is there such a thing as a 'gourmet' burger? Suspect they are having us on. Small wonder they are on the verge of bankruptcy. Knock 50 - 75% off the prices and fill the places would be a better strategy than having 100% of no-one.
Noted! Actually the burgers (I got a 2 for one on o2 prioritiesapp) were both undercooked and both the staff and customers were rude.

The second burger was very undercooked. The first was pretty ok. Still worse than last timeS!

Why would you be actively glad that a burger business (or any business) is going to the the wall?

The possibility that people will lose their jobs is not something to rejoice about, surely?

Apart from the prices being beyond what you personally are willing to pay, how has GBK slighted you?

Not posh or rich, I took my Mum there last week, both had a burger, chips and unlimited Cordial for £23, and my branch (Bluewater) is great 👌 A Maccys would have been £14, worth the extra £9 for proper meat, proper chips, and the extra drinks.

Really? And what about the people that work for them? Mac donalds and kfc realistic pricing? Because you are slowly being poisoned by this crap and people earning minimum wage thats why its so cheap
Haha! Comparing these to Mcsh*t?! Whatever next? Why aspire to owning a Ferrari when you can have the same four wheeled experience in a smart car? Or why buy a house when you can live in a cardboard box?

Tbh, in my experience, they aren't much better than McDonald's, if at all, grumpy staff, slow service, even in an empty restaurant. I've only been twice. You'd think I'd learn after the first time. Not again. A case of emperor's New clothes. Well they've been removed, hense why they're closing restaurants.

What an insensitive and throughly ignorant statement.
For a business to make money they either need to trade on high volume low profit or low volume high profit. The later normally delivers better service and more expensive products.
While there are a lot of Michelin star judges on here. What would they say was a good place for a burger that wasn’t a fast food patty in a sugary bun?
Fast food outlets are ruining the dining out experience and messing with pallets. We cannot always compare prices unless you compare service offerings too.
Not saying GBK is good, never been but it’s not a clean cut what is over priced or not.
