Thank you for this!

It does not say anything on the website, so how do you know this?

We've been told to accept all student cards. As long as it has the uni/college name on it, we are to take it.

Going to tell all my students in tutorial tomoz
Thanks

i get really annoyed when shops offer student discounts . i class my 13 year old daughter as a student as do i class my 6 year old son a student as they attend school but they are not entitled to student discount.

Most large stores are the same, if you think like these we really wouldn't shop anywhere. Sad to say, but true....

Maybe they can grab something on their way back from smashing up Tory HQ!

Admitted that's a very small minority but what a bunch of absolute Rsoles.

Agreed, they achieved nothing from that apart from show immaturity? Students get tons of discount else where. I was hoping they didn't start smashing the kit on the roof we have kit up there providing businesses with wireless internet and was hoping i could leave work on time for a change

I would classify her a pupil not a student, or a school kid/boy/girl a student is really someone who follows futher or higher education.

Looking at wikipedia it seems to agree with that, but says student has become more popular to describe doing learning in parts of Europe.

I suppose you think its ok for your 13 year old daughter to get half price bus fares, and a lot of school kid offers, kids meals etc.

Anyway last time I went to a Peacocks as they seem to be rare in areas I have lived they refused my student card as they said it has to be NUS.

shouldnt all students be breaking windows and looking tough in there balaclavas in london instead of shopping in peacocks?

I wonder if they have 'The rioters guide to London' in stock

It's always been 10%. I've been a student for 6 months and haven't noticed any different at Peacocks.

Abit of a residual ideology, don't you think?

However, I'm sure your meant to have a date on the Student I.D/Card ..as it could of expired years ago etc. Also, don't think they would be allowed to accept a card with the name, Bob, if the person stood in front of you was a woman...if you get me. Not sure if all have names on..just struck me as funny.

thanks andee1075, this discount is great news, it'll save me a few pounds!!! thanks again!!
