Only £4.50 off, but thought this set was quite a good deal for everything you get!

From their site:

  • 1 x wilko grey glazed 12 piece dinner set
  • 1 x wilko 16 piece black cutlery set
  • 1 x wilko hi-ball tumblers 4 pack
  • 1 x wilko metallic non-stick black saucepan 16cm
  • 1 x wilko metallic non-stick black saucepan 20cm
  • 1 x non-stick frying pan 24cm
  • 1 x wilko large oven tray
  • 1 x wilko rectangular glass roaster

I've used their own brand saucepans before and wasn't a fan - but I'm sure students don't really care that much!!

They have a couple of other student bundles, but this one seemed the best value and the one that would get the most use.

Free Click & Collect too.

Looks like very cheap stuff you could probably find in poundland and similar places.
Or just go to a second hand shop
Ah student days. The memories!
Reckon you can get all the necessaries cheaper individually - and I’m not sure what student needs a 12-piece dinner service and that much cutlery! The frying pan is pretty small, and the two saucepans virtually the same size - it would be far more useful to have a little and a large one. You’re certainly not going to able to cook enough with them to make use of the massive assortment of crockery. As OP says, some may not care that the quality won’t be great, but having seen housemates’ cheap non-stick pans disintegrate within months, it’s just not worth it. The PTFE coating also makes its way into watercourses and people’s bodies, where it persists for a very long time - that, we should all care about. Far better to spend the same money on just one steel or ceramic pan that will last many years than two which are essentially disposable IMHO.
