An exclusive programme for Students

You must be a qualifying student to take advantage of these offers and the discounts they provide. The detail of the requirements and the use of the software are detailed in the Microsoft End User License Agreement (EULA) which you can down load using the link on this page.

In summary you must be a post secondary school student currently enrolled in a recognised course or a about to take up a place on a new course.

I havent yet confirmed my place at University/College

You can still take advantage if you havent yet confirmed or taken up you place at university or college, provided that you were in post secondary education (for example doing your A Levels) and are you are intending to take up a further course at University or College. You dont have to wait until your University or College place is confirmed.

I want to purchase a PC on behalf of a Student

If you are a parent, friend or relative and you wish to purchase a PC on behalf of a student, you can do so provided you know that the student concerned would qualify under the terms of the EULA.

What happens when I leave University or College?

Provided that you qualified for the programme when you were a student, the EULA agreement continues in force even after you have completed you studies. You are fully licensed to use the software for as long as you choose to do so after you have completed your course, and there are no additional fees or other costs.

Today a PC is an essential tool for students. Little wonder then that according to recent research* close to 90% of students now take a PC to University and over 50% purchase a new PC in the two months before starting university. But with such a myriad of PC makes and models, notebooks and desktops available, how do you choose? How can you make sure you have the right solution, enabling you to concentrate on your studies and making the most of University life, rather than worrying about an unreliable, slow or unstable PC which may let you down at the at the worst possible time.

The Dell | HSBC Student Service systems have been designed to provide a solution to this dilemma. The systems provides a complete student solution including a choice of PCs (notebooks or desktops, in wide range of specifications), Microsoft Office Professional software (providing all of the applications you are likely to need) and at home maintenance support (so if you do have any hardware problems an engineer will visit you to sort them out). As you would expect, the solutions also include McAfee Antivirus software and a range of further options including theft and accident insurance, peripherals and accessories.

As well as providing a range of well specified solutions, this also provides a huge discount compared with the sum of each of the elements included if purchased individually.

Exclusively in association with HSBC

These offers are exclusively available to HSBC Student Services account holders.

Oh bum, I'm a student and have just spent £1200 on a Dell laptop. Ah well, you win some, you lose some

If the prices on the page are the final prices , then I would be tempted to use my 1st cold vote in a long time.
Its cheaper to go with MikeT's deals
