HMV are currently doing a 2 for £25 promotion on Studio Ghibli Blu-Ray's, including Porco Rosso which I haven't seen this cheap before. Titles included:

Arrietty, Castle of Cagliostro, From Up on Poppy Hill, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, Laputa, Nausicaa, My Neighbours the Yamadas, Ponyo, Porco Rosso

Apologies for the not very good picture, I was trying to be subtle when taking it!

They need to bring out a box set FFS

You might wanna be quick! I work at HMV and we got a memo that these are being taken out of the promotion from next week (Monday I think). Particularly worth it for Princess Mononoke if you can find a copy, and Howl's Moving Castle or My Neighbour Totoro are also very much worth getting. Nausicäa is the only one to not be dual format - blu-ray disc only (and no slipcover).

Oh good to know, I thought it was a new promotion!

Much like Disney they're doing titles one-by-one, so people can collect them (for instance, I only own the three I want so far...wouldn't buy them all). There are also new Ghibli films coming out all the time so it's unlikely there will be a set - but unlike Disney, who release the Ghibli films in the US, and who might have considered it (they did a Pixar set last year), StudioCanal don't usually do sets.

Nah it's been for a while now. I was kinda annoyed 'cause when Mononoke came out recently it was about £19.99 at HMV so I bought it elsewhere (Zavvi I think), then a few weeks later was added to the 2 for £25 offer (and I work at HMV so could've got discount). But yeah we got some Ghibli titles in today and it's still showing up in the offer so try take advantage this weekend if there are any titles you might wanna get! As I said, Mononoke, Totoro and Howl's are the key titles to pick up at the moment.

Trust Zavvi to get that to you on time Yeah Mononoke and Totoro are probably my two favourites, I can't remember seeing Mononoke on the shelf but that would be great to own on Blu-Ray - will have a look again over the weekend. Have a lot of Ghibli titles on DVD and am slowly upgrading my faves.

We got a good few on normal DVD over the past few years and at best they were £7.

Are these still selling well on eBay as I'd obviously rather own them on BluRay now that it's an option.
