Ordered Nausicaa the other day...pretty good seeing as the amaray version didn't have a DVD copy with it! Plus the artwork on these is great, particularly Nausicaa and Totoro

Totoro Steelbook? My idea of heaven! Ordered! Too much punctuation, you say? Never!

It's going to an expensive collection

Gonna see what flubit offer me

£15.90 flubit

Awesome. I did not know you could use flubit for pre-orders

Offtopic: Does anyone know a decent UK site to buy Totoro (Cat bus etc) / Makaimura t-shirts and that style of Jap T-Shirt?

@ Fishmaster I know there's a shop called aHa in North Street in Brighton.

They have loads of Japanese items imported I got a load of Totoro bits for my Son's birthday.

It's local for me but sure there's a few sellers on eBay that might help you out.

Why do people bum steelbooks?

I have never used them but you can buy them here http://www.redbubble.com/shop/totoro+t-shirts?page=3

I am not going to show my daughter the site though, it would cost me a fortune!

Yeah, having the DVD with it, so the kids can watch on their portable player is a major bonus for me. Not normally a huge fan of steelbooks, but these look really attractive.

Not much of a deal, but the cheapest these can be pre-ordered for at the moment.

Surprised there's not boxset of Ghibli films

That would be heaven.

Anyone know if they plan to release all the titles on blu ray. Older titles wont really benefit but better than dvd transfer

I don't know- I bought Laputa on Blu-Ray, and it looks glorious.

Try checking out dayoftheshirt.com. It's a site that compiles all the daily t-shirt sites onto one page. There's nothing on there today, but there's often some nice Ghibli stuff from time to time- I picked this one up the other week, but it's gone, now

I like the look of these, but as already mentioned, it could be a pricey collection!

Tempted.

Although I wouldnt purchase as an investment, do any of you think they are likely to hold their value well?

Regards

dont u like it how it mentions amazon family 20% off , in the special offers and it isnt applicable on the items.

Nausica doesnt mention the 20% off in products, If you really wanted to you can take your chances on other DVD / Blu ray titles

I accidentally requested 2 for Howls and one came in at £15.90 and all the others £16.83. I've accepted the £15.90 & re-submitted the request for the other 3.

Film4 have Studio Ghibli seasons where they show almost every Ghibli film every 6 months or so, though the last one only recently finished. I've now got most of them recorded on Sky+.

£21.50 now

They'll often only show them with English dubs though, which IMO are generally garbage...
