ra2000... wowzers. your going to looka reet bobby dazzler in that pal.

I voted HOT for this - but from the price being so low - it really makes watches become disposable - as replacing the battery in a shop will cost more than replacing the watch.

I have two solar watches and three automatic winders - in addition to loads that need batteries (I used to collect unusual watches). One costs about 30 quid to have the battery swapped.

But realistically - if a watch is not solar, or windup, or automatic - then it really only has a life span of the battery, and so is a waste of resources.

IBIZA...

this is not hot

Gutted, outta stock everywhere near me =-[

Hmm, interesting. I wonder if the strap/bracelet is stainless steel or some kind of monkey metal alloy with a plating?

Almost paid £6.99 for a new stainless steel strap and I thought that was reasonable. This would be a strap and a battery and a little clock all for less. Had a Constant watch once for £2.99 and it was OK.

hot price but could someone correct the title cos 'STYLISH' it aint! :-D

stylish it aint

reserved one thanks to OP

Nice watch but will stick with my TAG though.

Its a TAG Formula 1 that costs me 30 quid to get the battery changed.

Voted hot, good watch for work, etc.....reserved one.

Thanks Edi.

Remember, with many items at Argos, one can always request a viewing before buying.

Voted hot from me.

OK - smarmy time now - I have a Rolex Date, which is an automatic.

Its almost 300 quid to get it serviced!!!!!

I also have a Russian Slava http://www.pmwf.com/Forum/WatchBrandIcons/slava.gif Automatic and it cost 10% of servicing the Rolex to buy (its a watch - not a gun) :-D

I really need to get a camera of scanner set up for pictures.

But until then - I guess it would take quite a whack to damage the top of the range Slava diver's watch.

I only want one more watch now - a 24 hour dial Russian Automatic - with day and date - but have been looking for years and never found one.

Everyday watch is a Casio Waveceptor - a retro styled all metal solar one.

Absolutely awfull cheap looking watch...but ok for the money for a child or if you work on a building site and cant have an better quality one.

Not a negative at this price, but...used to have one of these a while ago, and the strap corrodes very quickly - goes pink!!!!

Also used to work at Argos and had a lot back with the same issue. But as said above, at this price is basically disposable

hot hot hot

Just an observation / hint

Ps Hot deal

I do respect the fact some people who have expensive watches may be a little reluctant to fiddle about etc, but I tend to find that the 'Cards' from Poundland with all the different button cell battieries and a cheap set of precision screw drivers invaluble. They don't always have the exact battery needed but often they can provide one good enough for the job....

 what a stupid comment and waste of posting space.

Why make a comment like that? -its like someone posting a deal up on a Ford Fiesta and then you piping up and saying..."nice car, but ill stick with my Porsche" !!
