Ive been putting them on the psp memory, but thats been a bit bulky to carry around. Thanks.

Good price for this Thanks edi!

bought that mp3 player at christmas as a gift, the FM radio wasnt active in the firmware on that one so im not sure if those ones will as well.
Sandisk afair didnt want to pay the licence fee to enable it in the uk/europe so disabled in firmware, but from what I have read it can be enabled by obtaining firmware from the US

Thanks for the feedback Scorg

I purchased one for my daughter at Christmas. The first one kept on crashing. Amazon promptly replaced it and it has been excellent since, constantly playing Lazytown.

Theres no mention of it having radio on the amazon page?

Hi, does anyone know if this can be simply plugged into a cd-player that has a usb slot so that it can be played through the cd player? I don't think I ezplained that very well

I bought it last year, it didn't contain radio.

Simply rerurned it. Now, I guess, they have updated the description accordingly and removed FM radio...

Same story, bought one, no Radio, returned. Actually I wasnt impressed with the overly plasticky feel to it anyway.

Bought this from Amazon for £26 about 4 months ago. Quality and battery life are very good. No radio, but that doesn't bother me.

By miles!.
Before I bought this, I tried a couple of £25-£30 range MP3 players from Argos. The difference in quality is unbelievable.

Did anybody try this?

I will definitely buy this if I can get radio working using this firmware..

Already returned once, wouldn't like to repeat the same exercise. :whistling:
If somebody can get this working pls let all know...

I am interested in this player as I would like an MP3 player that uses normal batteries, that I will not be worried about being stolen or being snapped in half, decent play time off a full battery and plays tracks at random.

Having looked at the reviews on Amazon I am confused as to whether you can actually play tracks at random. Please can somebody who has this player let me know what the play options are?

I am tempted to go for the 2Gb version for £10 more

Where : Amazon UK]

though oddly the reviews on this model are worse than the 1Gb version! Can't see them being any different though.

Yeap... the 2GB version for £29.99 may be better value. Thanks Searcher2

sound very good 2me-))
can you tell is it possible brows folders with this one
tnx in advance

I can't recommend this player highly enough.
The quality of sound is very good - on a par with £50-£100 players.

And there is no problem with technicalities.

Plug in > Drag music file(s) > Unplug > Play

Had it over a year and no problems, whatsoever.

Which one are you talking about? The Goodmans or Sansa? I guess the Sansa.

I tried this and it didn't work-the firmware on the Sansa 240 supplied by Amazon UK is a later version of the 3 series.

I also tried the firmware updater and is says there are no later versions available for the 240.

As the 4 series version of the firmware is now available why won't it load?

Having looked at the reviews on Amazon I am confused as to whether you can actually play tracks at random. Please can somebody who has this player let me know what the play options are?

I have just bought the 1GB player and I am mega impressed with what I've got for under £20, and in answer to your question, yes, it defaults to a random play format though you can very easily select your music by category (album, artist etc). In short, a user friendly bargain!

Mine is faulty and going back. It keeps going to the voice recording screen whenever I turn it on and going to the voice recording screen whenever I press the menu button twice. Tried reformatting, upgrading the firmware, etc...no luck.
