Half price 56cm sub zero g, worlds lightest suitcase. Great price for this suitcase, my family all use these for cabin allowance on Ryan air flights to max out 10kg allowance. Have reserved last one at Bromsgrove branch. You can order into store. The pattern isn't my chose but great price. Hope this helps someone.

Ryanair minimum size is 55cm. Not 56cm
A fellow bromsgrovian! Voted hot for this!
(It looks ugly though, I dont think I could be seen wheeling this around)

I think you mean 55cm maximum. Used these for years,no problem. They fit the Ryanair checking cage thingy with room to spare.

wow you mean there's two of us.
Strangely enough, although advertised as a 56cm suitcase the Argos site actually quotes the overall measurements as -

Size H49, W34, D18cm.

!!!!!!!

I still think the pattern is dreadful. Saw one recently at Birmingham airport and would have been embarassed to have been towing it around.

Despite the smaller dimensions, even at this size you would easily reach the 10kg Ryanair weight limit so it's still a good sized case to get.
The charcoal one (901/9119) for £3 more is a better looking fabric and is within cabin limits
Lightweight 1.94kg .... . ,!
That only leaves 8.06kg of allowance
Better to use a 'lightweight' nylon rucksack/holdall, leaving spare room to squash it into whatever shape ryanair desire

relative to other suitcases it is light. You could save even more money and use paper bags.
So this is NOT a 56cm case - its a 49 cm version.
The plus point of this is its within the Ryanair cabin luggage sizing ( though its a lot smaller than you could use).

A lot of these Sub zero G cases are strange sizes that are just too big for the UK budget airlines. The 56cm cases they make are no good for Ryanair - the height is 56cm and rigid ( so no squashing to fit within the 55cm size limit ) - so its a risk if using one as cabin luggage. Matalan sell these stupid sized cases.

Sub zero G do make cases in the Ryanair cabin size ( 55cm x 40cm x 20cm) , but strangely most retailers stock the ones that are not within the limits.
The question is... Will it still be lightweight after I've packed all my stuff in it??!!
gotta laugh that people still get taken in by these headline half price offers. At least Argos have a bit of decency by admitting its a bit of a con

I'm not the one getting all excited that this case is half price; which it clearly isnt. Not to mention its only for women!

Mens ones are £25 at asda

where did I even say they could be found cheaper? I was simply saying dont be fooled by the HALF PRICE comment as only a simpleton would think that was actually true

I posted because it was cheapest I found that I could be collected at the time, % off is really irrelevant.
