Subbuteo, the classic table football game is back. For those who missed out the first time round, or are too young to have been part of the craze, then now is your chance to join in the 'flick to score' game. A favourite of the football fan, this finger football game has become an icon in the world of sports games.

The Game is back with a bang with this new and improved version. Long gone are the days of the pitch rolling up blocking what could have been a super shot at goal or players breaking from a heavy handed flick. With more detail and greater dexterity of movement, playing the game will be more accurate and quicker paced.

One of the notable features of the game are the players standing on rounded, weighted bases, so you are not continually picking them up after flicking them around the pitch. Now the players are stronger and more flexible with the chances of breakages reduced.

Create your dream team and see who can win, scoring the most goals by flicking the ball into the net with the playing figures. Just pick your team and let the finger football commence. - R.K.

Features:

The Game includes: 2 teams of 20 players on the iconic mat, 1 pitch, 1 ball, 2 goalkeepers and 2 goals posts with net
The classic game has been improved, now with more detail
Improved pitch design for a smoother and quicker game
Includes rule book

Used to love this when I was a kid, and considering the set my parents bought me the best part of 40 years ago was £20 back then, £31,99 seems pretty good!

Not sure I approve of the new pitch design though, part of the fun was seeing your opponents carefully aimed pass hit a crease in the pitch and zoom off in totally the wrong direction

Will be surprised if this goes hot. Hope it does, but most kids these days would far rather play FIFA/PES than something like this.

Loved this as a kid. Wonder if i still have any old teams at my mums. Probably worth a bit of money.

Creases ha ha I remember exactly what you mean!

Great game which I played a lot. The main problem was that you needed to come up with an idea to secure the goals to the surface to prevent "moving the goalposts" in a very real sense.... This we managed to achieve - viz - the goals were permanently fixed to the surface and at the end of play were simply rolled up with the green baize. I doubt these days that the surface is baize. Probably some shiny, slick synthetic material.

Even 30 years ago we had the astropitch, which was a joy to behold!!! I left mine in an old loft. Gutted!!

Btw, wasn't the slogan 'flick to kick', rather than 'flick to score'?
