How. Easy are they to keep?

I bought small Aloe vera plant plantlet a couple of years ago and potted it up in 50/50 compost and sand and it sits on my kitchen winow sill. It's now around18" tall and has been repotted twice and given around 25 plantlets which I've been able to move on. So they're pretty easy, just got to remember not to over-water them.

Sounds good to me, plenty for the tortoises for a few years hopefully!

I think I need a tortoise

There were no Aloe's at my Lidl (Shanklin) just Crassula and Echeveria.

Thinking of getting a small Aloe plant for my desk at work.

Ben Fisher - It won't stay small very long! Like Biffbaff said - aloe vera plants grow like Triffids!
I bought a little plantlet for 50p from a Church fundraiser. Two years later, it 's blocking out the light on my kitchen window, despite my cutting 'limbs' off etc. I also have removed plantlets and given them to friends - have now run out of friends to give them to! And re-potting it is using up all my compost. I think I'm going to re-home it on Gumtree... oO

very easy to keep, but as mentioned before, grow well and need repotting in time.
look great in our bathroom, bought these a few years ago at this price.

have some heat!

Ps, it's pretty hard to kill these!!!
