But the other children in the playground did think it rather odd.

midwife just told us that this shouldn't be used on children that wear disposable diapers, as doing so will cause nappy rash contrary to popular belief. anyone on here in the know on such things? as i already purchased a tonne of this stuff in preparation for a newborn and now am in two minds about using it

Linux users would love this deal :P
Ok, I'll just show myself out...

My teenagers use this for Acne, give excellent results :-)

I used disposable nappies on 4 children and I think as long as you use a good quality nappy then no cream is needed. Mine never suffered from nappy rash and if on the odd occasion it looked like a bit of soreness was developing then I'd use a tiny bit of Sudocrem just on the affected area which was very rare. Sudocrem is fantastic stuff but I don't think there is the need to completely cover the bum unless it is actually getting sore. A good quality nappy and a bit of air to the bum should help avoid nappy rash.

that reminds me..i got a sore bum

sounds like rubbish to me. we use it when they had nappy rash with teathing, worked really well. we use pampers. good on exema as well.

I remember the health visitor saw the large sized tub of sudocrem I had bought and said that'll last you years. She then explained to only use a teeny amount when red/nappy rash appears and spread very thinly otherwise it's use defeats the point (skin breathable). She was right I still have the same 400g tub still going since June 2013 for my 2 kids!

Blemishes? You could lose an arm and it'd grow back if you put a blob if this on the stump.

Don't listen to anyone who thinks this is a BUM deal !
