Cannot believe how good this stuff is. Needed something to clean the limescale from the bath. Then I tried sugar soap and it just wiped off!! Now i have a squeaky clean bath. Sells for a round £2.95 in most places.

Excellent price. This stuff is primarily meant for washing down greasy surfaces eg doors, windows, grubby paintwork before repainting.

Good price but like buying ready mixed screenwash at garage its weak
£2-50 500g sugar soap powder [email protected] works out about 5 litres you dont have to mix up all at once and you can set strength

Yes, you're right. The google search that took me to their site said that delivery was free. Shame that.

Sometimes available in a spray as well, same price and easier / more economical application.

Sounds good, has anyone else used a product called Elbow Grease (which is ace)? Do you know how this compares? My dad has recommended this stuff before.

Just realised Elbow Greased is made as the same company as this Sugar Soap.

Not sure about using Sugar Soap for anything other than prepping surfaces for painting. Not only does it contain TSP but also Sodium Silicate, a mild abrasive.

It's also alkaline based, so using it to remove lime scale would have been much harder than something acidic like vinegar. It most certainly wouldn't be kind any shiny surface (as it's designed to not keep it shiny).
