Paying homage to the spaghetti western, world renowned director Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, Audition) has invented a uniquely stylish Japanese action western set during the Genpei clan civil wars of the 12th century and shot in English. Co-stars Quentin Tarantino.

Sounds odd but would buy it if a Poundland was anywhere near me.

Is this the film where they learnt English phonetically so it is supposed to sound more 'Grind Housey'?

Love Takashi Miike's style but his movie's can be tough to watch. A fifteen rated movie shouldn't contain his usual mix of sexual violence etc

Would definitely pick this up if I saw it.

I usually like Miike films, even the family ones like Zebraman, Great Yokai War & Visitor Q....hehe, but this is awful.
Yeah, the Japanese actors speak English and you can't understand them, it's not just that though, the whole film is a chore to watch & Tarantino's acting is terrible too.

Still, it's one for the collection, so thanks & hot.

I bought this from Poundland last year. They only had one in stock and it never came back in.

Amazing deal, The Japanese film is nowhere near as stylish Korean film The Good The Bad and the Wierd though
