This has been the same price from ages now!
Is it, any, better than izettle Go? I'm bit frustrated about long waiting time sometimes over a week

I have just ordered an Izettle, do you mean the time it takes to hit your bank? I found the card reader for £19 + vat seemed decent . Not tested it yet
Haven't tried iZettle.

I've been using sum up for over a year now. Never had any issues with payment, even send a wee email to remind when there's a bank holiday in Germany (payment processing base)

I have my account sent for monthly payout, bit daily, weekly etc is also available.

Straightforward setup and registration, app is very user-friendly once you get your head around how it's built, friendly not necessarily intuitive!

Low transaction fees, VAT invoices for fees emailed with the payout. Fairly fast feedback from customer services too
We also have this at work. Ditched worldpay for this. Easy to use and can setup users with restrictions so they can’t do refunds etc.

I use this all the time and set it for daily payouts and I get the money in my bank account after an average of 3 working days, sometimes 2, sometimes 4-5 but never a week
can someone tell me what the transaction fee is please?
1.69% can get it cheaper with referal
Is this better then than Paypal offering?
And will it work worldwide?

What's the Fee? and surely there is a free alternative or maybe a way of requesting this for free seeming it's a profit for the company with every transaction
Presumably the company do the processing as well. You buy the machine, you're forced to use their payment services.

This will never be free as the major card schemes charge a base percentage interchange fee, well, unless those fees are ditched.

Paypal offers different levels of fee, depending how much money you get through their machine, it starts from 3% fee per transaction if you don't use it much to 1% if you have few tens of thousands £ of transaction in a month
The very good point with paypal is you get the money instantly in your bank account, when you take a payment with the PayPal here machine it goes instantly to your PayPal business account, and a transfer from your PayPal to your bank is instant, nobody else is that fast
Also paypal offer a working capital, which is a loan, without any credit check, I used to ask £1000 every year, and I need to pay back £1030 total, that is useful sometimes..
Otherwise the bad point about paypal here is their machine, the battery doesn't last long at all and takes forever to turn on if you choose to turn it off to save battery, annoying for customers..

The "contactless payment" feature pays for itself *very quickly* if you use it to brush against people's wallets on the underground ... so I hear
If anyone drop across this and wants to use the reader outside the UK you're going have problems.

First, you have to explain why you want to use away from the UK to SumUp! Then you find that it won't work in a number of country's (like the US, which is where we do most of our events).
When I asked the question, 'We'll be in Dublin next week with customers from all over the world, will the reader work with their cards?' they didn't know!!
If you just want to use it in the UK (which will be most people), you'll be fine. If you need it to be flexible, look elsewhere. . .
